Best doctor and heart team in the entire Tampa Bay area. I had triple by pass and was out of the hospital in 4 days. No complications at all, no real chest pain, sewed me up very nice--hardly a scar. I wouldn't have any other doctor touch my heart. Michael Baccich

Had unexpected triple surgery at largo medical center Easter weekend. Can't recommend hospital but awfully glad he was the surgeon. Uses a special technique that allows the heart to continue beating some patients never have to "brought back". At no point during the surgery does the patient die and get revived. His stitches are clean and straight.

I had a difficult open heart surgery of a triple bypass, Mitral Valve Repair and Mazz procedure to correct Afib. Rehap went normally for a 66 yr old man and 1 1/2 years later had a stress test, wore a halter monitor for 24 hrs and had a stress test. My cardiologist read the results and said everything is normal and no sign of the return of afib.

Dr. Caldiera was able to successfully complete coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) on my wife. Four other Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Central Florida said it was impossible to do the surgery, as her arteries were small. Not only is Dr. Caldiera a highly respected and talented Surgeon, he is a very personable and compassionate man. We owe you a debt that money itself cannot repay. Thank you for saving my best friend and love of my life!
