After completing my bachelors degree in biochemistry at the University of Wales in 1983 and qualifying as a doctor at Leicester medical school ,UK in 1989 I decided to emigrate to the United States in 1991 to train as an Orthopaedic surgeon at SUNY Stony Brook in 1992-1996. After residency and a fellowship at University of California San Francisco in 1997 , and a brief stint in academics at the University of Illinois in Springfield I joined a private orthopedic group in CT for 13 years and most recently joined SPG for the last 5 years. In my spare time I enjoy cycling on the quieter roads of the cape as well as boating , travel and family time.
