He completed his medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee after which he relocated and completed his residency training in Anesthesiology and his fellowship training in Chronic and Interventional Pain Management at the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been an advocate for Calmare therapy and has opened his own Calmare Pain Management center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
