The experience was strange. Although Dr. Miller is probably one of many good ortho surgeons in the DFW area, meeting him and especially the office environment was less than exciting. They are the only practice in the county that requires payment (above Medicare) at the time of visit. Their business acumen is scary bad and a staff wants to argue rather than listen. The "feeling" in the office was scary quiet and uncomfortable. Noone looked happy and I would suggest many find a different calling. The outcome was both I and the practice dropped each other. Look elsewhere for your needs. 100's of ortho surgeons are available in the DFW area.

I had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon tear about 7 weeks ago. I did a lot of research on who I wanted to do the surgery. Dr. Miller kept coming up as the best choice. He explained the surgery, the recovery and really addressed all of my concerns. The surgery itself went as planned, although I was holding out hope there wasn't a tear. I have spoken with several friends that have had the same surgery. I feel like I am progressing way ahead of schedule. The pain wasn't really that bad and most of my motion has been restored. I've got a ways to go and will start strength training soon. It's not a fun surgery and recovery, but I couldn't be happier thus far in the process. Everyone's situation is different, but I have been very pleased by the result and the overall process. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Miller!

Dr. Miller performed bilateral knee replacement surgery ten weeks ago. I am so happy with the results. My friends can’t believe I had both knees replaced in one day. The first week after surgery was intense, but it’s so worth getting them both done at once. Dr. Miller’s technique leaves you with minimal scarring, and he doesn’t cut any muscles . I finished my physical therapy , and I’m feeling great. Dr. Miller, and his staff are friendly and very professional. I highly recommend him for knee replacement surgery.

After seeing other knee surgeons for my knee problems, I have decided to go for Dr.Miller. I am almost 80 years old and have considered having knee surgery for many years and I feel that I have made the right decision. If I could give Dr. Miller 10 stars I would, because he is courteous , kind, listens to you, he is the right age to have enough experience and he has a unique way of dealing with knee surgery so that healing is faster.

Dr. Miller was informative about my knee replacement. Provided the details I asked about. He had a conservative approach vs just jumping into surgery which I appreciated. He looked at all avenues to help my knee. Even day of surgery, Dr Miller knew I was nervous and provided support and positive reinforcement. All staff were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller.

Today I went in for a total knee replacement. I would highly recommend Dr. Chris Miller for any orthopedic work! Not only is he an amazing physician he's very personable and caring. At our first visit he answered all my questions and was honest with his answers. He went over the procedure and let me know what I was to expect. After the procedure he came to check on me several times to see how I was feeling and if there was anything else he could do for me. Later that evening he called to see how I was doing! I also really liked the fact that he said if I did have any questions regarding my surgery to please call him directly.

I have had 5 orthopedic procedures by Dr. Chris Miller at Legacy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Plano, the last being a left total knee replacement on May 5th. I am a physician so have the advantage of being able to dig a little deeper into the backgrounds and training of my personal physicians which is why I chose Dr. Miller initially to repair my ruptured achilles tendon a couple of years ago. I had such a great experience that he replaced my right knee a year ago and then he scoped my left knee after an injury in January, where he found advance arthritis in that knee as well. With our Disney trip on hold due to COVID-19 this spring I decided to push up replacement of my right knee and just had my 6 week post-op visit with him yesterday where he told me I was ahead of schedule on rehab and he has released me. I attribute my recovery to both his skill as a surgeon and my diligence in my physical therapy, which is so important. I am walking pain free for the first time now!

Dr Miller is a miracle worker. My right knee had already had a partial replacement 4 years earlier but it wasn’t helping me. Dr Miller examined my knee, gave me options, but I wanted to get a full replacement. We scheduled the surgery and I haven’t looked back! Within 2 weeks I was walking pain-free with the Occasional help of my cane and started out-patient therapy. Dr Miller has an outstanding Professional support staff. And should I require surgery on my left knee, I’ll have no reservations about returning to him for help! I can’t imagine how you could chose anyone else but Dr Miller for orthopedic help. He’s the best!
