He was seeing my son and prescribed medicine based off an arbitrary test of reading his business card. My son seems to be having side effects and we cannot reach the doctor at any of his email addresses or his phone number. We have been checking our spam folders and our voicemails for a response and there is none from our several attempts to reach him. This goes beyond unreliable into the territory of irresponsible and possibly even egregious.

Dr. Shah is really helped in educating me on the different conditions my son is dealing with. He’s been able to make recommendations from his observations which have benefited our family. We have been with him for almost two years and it was the best decision I have made.

Dr. Shah is an excellent psychiatrist for children with multiple challenges. He has seen my son for about ten years for depression, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD and the loss of his father right before he began High School. He not only prescribes medication but he educates you and the child on the fundamentals of the challenges, explains what the current goals are, and initiates discussions with your child. This is extremely important to me since my son will share his feelings in a different way than he does with me. Dr. Shah spends at least twice as long during an appointment than any others in this field. He always remembers where we left off and what your child is dealing with, even if months have past and he will listen to my concerns and will make decisions that are comfortable for me as the parent. He also has a very reasonable fee if he's out of network with your insurance. Excellent doctor!!

My kid has been seeing Dr.Shah for almost 3 year now for depression and anxiety. I will say that during all treatments, therapy and hospital stays a lot of doctors have come and gone, myself getting rid of them due to lack of progress. I have stuck with Dr.Shah since the beginning because he educates myself of all the medication my kid will be taking and he interacts with my kid on how the meds are doing. He keeps my kid engaged and doesn't make them feel left out. I'm not one to write reviews, but parents who are looking for a good Dr. I would HIGHLY recommended Dr.Shah, He gives back his time to ensure we walk outta there with a clear understanding. Again, he'd educate us on the medication he wanted to prescribe AND he gave us a choice on whether he wanted to take it. He goes above and beyond teaching us how pharmacy's work and different drug manufacture of generic brand vs name brand. He is very active with my child with always giving her high fives with compliments their progress.

Dr. Shah is compassionate, thoughtful, and informative - I highly recommend him. He has great knowledge on different treatment options, and explains them in a way the average person can understand. He explained with what is going on with my child in a very informative and simple way, and explained which medications could help.

Myself and my stepdaughter who has ADHD issues, had an appointment with the doctor based on a referral from an inpatient program. The appointment was to get her prescription refilled which she was out of when the day of the appointment arrived. We went in only to be told by the doctor that my stepdaughter's guardian had to be present for the appointment. We should have been told this when the appointment was made. The doctor was very dismissive and condescending. Highly avoid this place!!!!!!!!

We had a very unsatisfactory experience with Dr. Shah. Our daughter that has ADHD had enough medication left to last her through Friday of a given week. We called to ask for a refill to be mailed on Tuesday of that same week. Not only did we never receive it, Dr. Shah couldn't confirm that he ever got the message. He also acknowledged in an appointment that he hadn't returned our phone call from three weeks prior. We will not be taking our daughter back there and would never recommend him.

Would not recommend to anyone--spoke in condescending manner to mildly autistic son and then asked him to leave the room and sit in the lobby so that he could say negative things about him at our latest visit. Extremely unprofessional.
