Dr. De Monteiro's Care Philosophy
As a primary care internist, I am devoted to the health and well being of my patients. I believe in preventive practices for our young healthy patients, and I am committed to better management of chronic illnesses for our geriatric patients. I see each patient as unique, and as a physician, I strive to treat each individual as a whole, not just the disease. As the practice of medicine become more challenging, I still cherish the long term relationship that I have with many of my patients.
