Dr. Colbert is very well informed and the area is fortunate to have someone of her expertise and training at Weill Cornell Medical College, NYC. What I like best about her is her straightforward manner and candor on medical and related personal issues.

Awful bedside manner. She is useless when something is actually wrong. Shrugs and tells you to go to ER. I've been ill for several months -- she hasn't scheduled any blood work , exams, etc. I'm changing Drs as soon as I'm released from this trip to hospital ... she is the most unprofessional , unkind, rude person I've ever met. She needs to find a new job.

Because of this doctor, my mother was sent to the ER with an acute asthma attack. For over 2 months, she and her staff could not seem to get a simple prescription right and so my mother was without her asthma medicine for 3 months! My mother could have died and when I called to tell her what had happened and ask her to call in a prescription asap, she was incredibly rude and hostile. She was yelling and nasty and expressed concern only about her license(!), not once asking about my mother!

She is very direct and empathetic. She is knowledgeable and answers questions with care. Never rushed. She compiles the information sent form other doctors to make an informed decision that directly relates to my needs. She is patient and skilled.
