I began my otolaryngology career in Rochester NY where I did my residency. I was the first female ear nose and throat doctor in the area. I have remained in Rochester since 1998, first in private practice for 10 years and now in academic medicine. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages. Although we see many of the same problems throughout the day, each patient is special and I enjoy getting to know each one. Finding and treating the root cause of disease is important. I don't want to just add to a patient's medication list. Surgery is chosen when medical management has been exhausted. I enjoy building a relationship with my patients as I care for them.
