      Charles W. Titone, M.D. is Board certified in Ophthalmology, licensed in North Carolina, New York and Florida. Dr Titone attended Howard University College of Medicine as one of handful of 6 year BSMD students and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1984. He is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology and, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

      Dr Titone has been a practicing Ophthalmologist for over 27 years with expertise in Laser Refractive Correction Procedures and Cataract surgery. He performs no-stitch; small incision; no injection cataract surgery using the latest technology. Dr Titone is certified to use Tecnis® Multifocal, Acrysof Restor® , and Crystalens® lenses to restore distance and reading vision as well as Tecnis® and Acrysof® Toric lenses to correct Astigmatism. His skills include treatment of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. In addition, he performs Oculoplastic surgery of the eyelids and is certified for the cosmetic use of Botox® and Juvederm® for facial wrinkles. Dr Titone is one of a hand full of doctors trained and certified by STAAR for the Visian® Intraocular Contact Lens (ICL) procedure, used to correct nearsightedness of patients who were previously not candidates for other forms of refractive surgery. Dr. Titone has full certification on the VISX S4 IR Customvue® laser and performs Custom Wavefront corrected Lasik, Lasek, and PRK with Iris registration.
