I walked out of my appointment, thinking what the heck just happened, he spent most of the appointment, belittling me, telling me I was seeking a doctor out to do surgery when it’s not necessary. I was referred to him by my physician After an MRI, he had no interest in anything I had to say, even interrupted me, midsentence as I was explaining my symptoms. He spent a whole five minutes with me. And 4 1/2 of the minutes was him talking down to me and belittling me. Would not give one star.

Would have been nice to have someone not just read notes, but actually talk to their own patient themselves. This isn't the guy. He doesn't even remain in the room long enough to do an exam, he just comes in, announces a decision without talking to you, and leaves. This could have been a phone call. Don't bother, he isn't going to help you.

NO. Dr Rosen was very arrogant and spent approx 10 minutes with me during which time he stated that he had more knowledge and experience then the neurologist i was seeing. Very unprofessional. No wonder he has so many appointment openings and appointment cancelations. Also found out he has disclipine action on his medical license and a reprimand. You can look it up by doing a search on his medical license.

I was going blind from a brain tumor. Doctors in Charleston, WV would not touch it. Going to WVU Medical Center was the best decision I have ever made.He operated, removed the tumor, and saved my sight and life. He is direct and to the point in terms that can be understood instead of having to use a medical dictionary. He makes sure you understand the good, bad, and ugly of the what if's during and after surgery. My brother had the same problem and he gladly traveled from West Virginia to Illinois to be treated by what we consider the #1 Neurosurgeon at Central Illinois Neuro Health in the United States. You won't be a number on paper, you will be a person and treated as such beginning to end.

I have been in Dr Rosen's care for 5 months. He removed a menginoma tumor. He checked on me everyday I was in the hospital. A week later, I was taken back into surgery for a shunt placement. There is a situation now of air pockets around my brain. Dr Rosen has seen me every week to see if theres any change. He did not want to rush into another surgery. Glad he didn't, because I'm healing up on my own. I trust him with my health. He's always been attentive to me.
