I wish more doctors were like Dr. Parker. He is the only one I've ever met with that made a big difference for me after genuinely listening and working to find a workable solution. Anyone would be lucky to have such a good psychologist/psychiatrist. I am sad to see him retire, I have yet to find anyone else like him.

Dr. Parker is willing to help as long as you follow blindly. If you have any questions, he will direct you to his multiple videos or books. I asked questions about the reasons for, the expected benefit and possible side-effects/ concerns related to making multiple medication changes. Two days after our second appointment, I received a letter in the mail telling me my son had been given a 30 day prescription (for a medication he had never had before), the follow-up appointment had been cancelled, and I needed to seek a second opinion.

I went to see dr Parker a few months ago due to advise from a friend. He asked me to say in one sentence why I was there. Then like a psychic he listed a number of issues I suffer with and blew my mind! He was very kind and even listened intently to my husbands conserns. I'm not the type to cry in front of others but by the end of my apt I was weeping like a baby because for the first time while dealing with my illness I had a feeling of hope and walking out after I felt the weight lifted off my

Dr. Parker is one of the few mental health professionals I've ever trusted in my life, and even though I've only been taking the medication he prescribed me for a few days, I can already see a giant change in myself and my quality of life. He really cares. That's rare in this field.

He saw my son for counseling- didn't help. He put him on a Rx but it didn't help. Then he prescribed a Rx that was fairly new. I did some research on the Rx & found it was a highly addictive Rx that amphetamine addicts liked bec of the way it made them feel. Next appt he asked about the Rx, I said I didn't fill it bec addictive nature. He turned to my son & said, "You'll be 18 in 6 mos. Come back then & I'll prescribe it." Docs should work with, not against families.

He was of some help with our autistic son, but never really could get a handle on his behaviors and attention deficits. His personal attention to our son was minimal and we felt very much like a number to him. His office staff and practices are what ultimately drove us away. His assistants rotate in and out monthly, it seems, and they are never available, always late to call back, and it takes numerous reminders to get them to send supplements and prescriptions out to you.

Dr. Parker, himself, is excellent. I've been going to this office for many years. The nurse/medical practitioners that rotate in and out (I can't count the number I've had) are an issue, however, and while some have been fine, the bad ones make life very difficult The most recent hire is terrible: she took personal calls during my appointment, barely listened to me, and changed my medication drastically. I have scheduled to see Parker himself to correct it. I can only hope she leaves quickly.
