Dr. Mesh performed carotid endarterectomy for me. During the pre-op visit, he explained how the surgery will be performed but he clearly downplayed all possible complications. After the surgery, I was not able to swallow niether fluids nor solid food due to cranial nerve injuries. I ended up with a feeding tube for > 6 months. It has been two years since the surgery and I still have problems swallowing food. I wake up 5 times/night to get rid of saliva accumulated in my throat.

Dr. Mesh was rude & unprofessional. When trying to answer his questions, he would interrupt & not let me finish. When checking the veins(on the lower portion of my legs) he lifted the gown exposing my undergarments. There was no need for this. I've been to other vein specialists before, including laser treatment on my thighs & never had them expose any portion of my undergarments, let alone up to my stomach. His demeanor was haughty & I will not continue treatment with him nor recommend him.
