Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. McMahon "We are dedicated to taking care of our patients in a very professional but also personal manner.  I had a very large staff and highly successful practice in Colorado Springs for thirty plus years and we performed thousands of surgical procedures on a large number of patients.  Now, I have a much smaller but very professional staff who are extremely efficient while being very personable with our patients.  We are no longer rushed with heavy schedules and take a lot of time with patients and address all their eye care needs as well as working with their other doctors to maintain their health--particularly with diabetic patients who are quite vulnerable to eye problems.  So, it is an old fashioned way of taking care of patients and we certainly enjoy this practice style and our patients are quite loyal."

I have been going to Dr. McMahon for 30 years and depend on him confidently and absolutely for all my eye health. Dr McMahon is very particular and patient in his keen interest to have you see as clearly as possible...and hdoesn't write a prescription until he is absolutely certain it is the best...more

This doctor is a salesman that will tell you what you want to hear! Don’t believe this guy. He operated on my mother’s eye when everyone else said it’s too risky. He promised the world and now she’s worse off working with other doctors to fix his errors.

I would leave negative stars if I could. Dr McMahon is a scientist. Beware of this doctor! He should not be practicing. He does not do what is best for the patient. He has left my mother blind due to his negligence and has never followed up with her. Do not let him operate on you.
