Dr. Hurbis' special interests include the reconstruction of the nasal airway and helping those with chronic sinus issues now utilizing the most conservative techniques such as sinuplasty where appropriate. He has authored many articles on these subjects and continues to submit fresh research for publication to advance science in these areas. He has won multiple awards for his work including the coveted American Broncho-Esophagological Society Research Award and The Lederer Pierce Research competition.
