My sons have both been seeing Dr. Horton since birth. Dr. Horton visited both boys in the hospital and brought them a gift. He has always been very caring. My youngest has had a lot of issues with asthma and allergies and Dr. Horton has worked with us through he years to deal with this. Dr. Horton only prescribes antibiotics when necessary, and sometimes I feel they are necessary when he does not. If you want a doctor to prescribe antibiotics at the first sign of a cold, you will not be happy with Dr. Horton. And really, prescription drugs are over prescribed in our country. I recommend Dr. Horton.

in 2015, Dr. Horton found a mass in my daughter’s abdomen at her 18 month checkup. He insisted we have an ultrasound the next day to determine what might be going on. As it turns out, it was a cancerous tumor on her right kidney. We were sent to St Jude in Memphis almost immediately. Because of Dr. Horton, they were able to remove the tumor and diagnose her as stage 1. She is now 5 years old and healthy! He is a wonderful doctor and caring man. I trust him with all 3 of my daughters.

Don't go to Dr. Horton if you do not want to vaccinate. He pressured me and tried to make me feel guilty for not wanting to vaccinate my premature 2-month old. I felt bullied and never went back.

Dr. Horton is very attentive and analytical. He will do what is best for the patient (the child). If you want a doctor that prescribes unnecessary medication to the child in order to make the parent feel better and get better reviews, then he is not your man.

If you want a do nothing hands off horrible Doctor that should not be practicing medicine than you should go to him. He is the absolute worst physician in the country bar none. Here in Huntsville we have a whole city full of unbelievable doctors and he is NOT one of them. If your child has something wrong besides needing their shots this is NOt the person to go see. Not exactly sure how he made it through medical school because he is HORRIBLE ! Sad part lots of people feel this way about him.

I presented my child with a fever and other flu like symptoms on Monday morning. Symptoms started late Saturday (with in the 48 hour window for prescribing Tami-flu). He came in and said that he doesn't like to give Tami-flu. No further explanation. We walked out of the office without even a test for the flu and he said she could go to school next day if she felt better. My child grew worse over night so we took her to another facility and they diagnosed her with the flu.
