Dr. Franklin has helped me tremendously. He is very professional, down-to-earth, caring, kind, considerate and humanistic with a great sense of humor. He takes his time with me and really listens to any of my concerns and always offers a variety of recommendations/solutions. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and always offers thorough explanations when answering my questions. I drive from Point Pleasant to his offices and it is worth the commute. Dr. C. Michael Franklin is a true find!

I've been seeing Dr. Franklin for close to 10 years. I have quite a few medical issues, and he is the professional I trust the most. He listens, tries anything possible to alleviate my symptoms and is a warm and thoughtful individual. Mike takes an interest in my overall health, partially because RA can cause so many diverse issues but also because he's a caring person. I am one of the patients who has not found a medication that has a direct impact on my RA, but we have settled on a regimen that alleviates the pain. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Franklin has been my rheumatologist for over 8 years, and he is hands down the best doctor I have ever had! He takes as much time as you need during appts, makes sure to answer any questions, and always has helpful recommendations. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is tired of being treated like a “number” by other doctors. You are definitely not a “number” to Dr. Franklin, and he is very invested in your health and care.

Dr. FRANKLIN IS A CARING COMPASIONATE DR. I drive 2 and a half hours one way to see him. He has been nothing but a blessing. He works with me regarding my condition and always there when needed. He is always punctual and spends an absorbent amount of time with me. Does not leave until all our questions are answered. Promptly responds when using the patient portal.

Dr. Franklin is a wonderful doctor. He listens to his patients and he asks important questions relevent to one's condition to help assess the patient's condition. Most of all, he treats his patients with respect, is positive in attitude, has alternative approaches to offer, and treats the whole patient. Thank you, Dr. Franklin.

I call him “Dr. Bandaid” as he has been keeping me patched up and able to continue with my life . I have been working in unison with his treatment plans and advice for over 20 years, and know that he is up to date and current in his knowledge and treatments. But the biggest plus is that he treats you with respect and doesn’t think that your complaints and symptoms are because you are “nuts”. Just because rheumatological issues cannot be necessarily by the naked eye, doesn’t mean they don’t exist

I am beyond thankful for this man. He diagnosed me in 1993 after years of me seeking answers. He helped establish the criteria to diagnose fibromyalgia. Thank you, Dr. Schorr, for sending me to Dr. Franklin. I wish I were still in the area so he could be my doctor. Highly recommend him.

First appointment went well but to get a followup appointment you have to wait months and then get rescheduled multiple times or have a physician assistant help you. Then go for a 2nd opinion to find out you were misdiagnosed by Dr. Franklin makes it more upsetting. He doesn't truly care about his patients.

Dr Franklin has always taken his time with me. He makes sure all my questions are addressed. He responds to my emailed questions amazingly fast. He was the second rheumatologist I saw and the difference was night and day. I believe this gifted doctor really cares about his patients.

Most significant issue was with another person's records in front of Dr. Franklin rather than mine, resulting in x-rays needed to monitor changes in my condition not being ordered. Also, nurse told me I was 5'6 at my last visit. I am 5'1. Last straw was being billed a year later for a treatment. Billing department was rude when after about 20 calls, I was finally able to talk to them. Looking for a new rheumatologist now.
