Myrtle Beach, SC |
He does not respect his patients where even in his office there is a sign that states may experience a 2 to 3 hour wait. Reason for this is he stacks his patients to get the most money for the day and does NOT do a thourough exam and you only see him for maybe 5 mins the Dr says he had an emergency as soon as I walked in the door well at the same time the nurses state this is the normal wait time for him. I think they need to get there stories straight. I will NEVER go back again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 years ago I had a retinal detachment followed by a redetachment that required a Scleral Buckle an additional surgery. These are emergency procedures and require immediate surgery to correct or blindness will result. Both times my surgery was scheduled within 24 hours of my visit. Considering how many patients he has it was a huge relief to get the needed surgery so quick. I am very grateful to have had such a great surgeon in Dr. Doering. Very grateful to all at Coastal Eye Care.

Dr Doering was arrogant and is very inconsiderate of all of his patients time. I will not be going back!
in North Myrtle Beach, SC |
I found Dr. Doering to be thorough in his examination process, and takes the time to explain fully his evaluation and recommendations. He answers all questions to the patient's satisfaction. He is very personable and gets to know his patients and gives his patients some insight into himself as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Doering to friends and family.
