Five stars but with reservations - to be honest it was all great. The intro call with Dr. Accurso showed him to be a very caring doctor. The staff was five star as well. I procrastinated so much with the appointments and procedure. Waited last minute for forms, calls, etc. and they were extremely supportive. I was late for the procedure due to work and they were very accommodating. The anesthesiologist had a dead fish personality but who cares, he did a great job. I never saw the doctor at all! When my back was turned toward him, he said "how we doing" that was about it. This was unsatisfactory. After I woke, the nurses took over answering questions. This was probably due to me not having any serious problems (thank you God!). But as I said the end result was very good and that's all I care about.

I’m baffled by ALL these Horrible & standoffish doctors out there. It’s insane how they get away with this let alone get a license to practice!! Never believe the reviews as they are very biased towards the doctor in most cases. Look for multiple bad ones and on different sites, you’ll find them. Then make an informative decision who yo see!!

We have seen Dr. Accurso for many years! I had very bad stomach pains. I called office in hills. Dr Accurso was very quick and caring . He got me in right away for appointment. He had to do a urgent sidmoidoscopy. It all went well. His staff at surgical center very kind and professional. I recommend him for good care and trust. Dr Accurso has also done my colonoscopy's excellent service and care. He is also very knowledgeable and great in his specialty.

Hi have no issues with the quality of care provided by Dr. Accurso. However, in discussing my condition in the pre-appt, I was told the procedure would be considered a screening, which my insurance covers. The doctor either changed his mind or forgot, but it was coded as diagnostic, which my insurance does not cover. So now I have to foot the entire bill. They did not make any mention of this in their system, so they cannot/will not make a correction. This is sloppy at best, dishonest at worst.

While pharmaceuticals are good in some cases, our medical community insist on just treating our symptoms. I suffer from Leaky Gut Syndrome and have many symptoms from it. It is a very real thing. Unfortunately, doc's are used to treating the symptoms and not the problem in the first place. This method of treatment creates a whole new hell for the patient. I went to this doctor for professional advice and help for LGS which I got absolutely no help or direction with. I won't be seeing him again!

During a recent office visit & EGD, Dr. Accurso & his staff were all professional & attentive. They were obviously concerned about me & reassuring to both my husband & I. In the procedure room, each member of the team warmly introduced themselves by name & identified their role on the team. The simple gesture of the nurse supportively squeezing my hand as the anesthesia began added to my confidence in all who were caring for me & helped me relax. I highly recommend Dr. Accurso & his staff.

I have found Dr. Accurso to be not only an excellent physician, he is also a caring person who is in tune with his patients needs and concerns. I had two colonoscopies done over a decade apart performed by him and as long as he is still practicing when I need my next procedure, I would not go to anyone else.

Dr Accurso was referred to me by my Internist, of whom I respect his opinion. I visited Dr Accurso over six years ago for my first of three colonoscopies. His office staff was very accommodating and efficient for scheduling appointments, and Dr Accurso himself and his professional staff prior to and during the procedure demonstrated excellent bedside manner, keeping me at ease during my initial anxiety. His pre-op preparation instructions were easy to follow, and I had no issues afterwards.
