I've been a patient for two years, and the first year was wonderful. I always saw Dr. Gorman for visits and follow up, office staff was efficient and happy. Most recently, the energy of the office is impersonal, and the quality of office visits and follow up is poor. I always see PA now, never Dr. Gorman, unless it's a scheduled procedure. In order to get script pre-authorized for insurance it takes me making many phone calls and chasing around. Procedures are denied by my insurance because they don't supply correct supporting evidence. Procedures rescheduled because they "forgot" to authorize with my insurance company. I feel that my pain and suffering no longer has the empathy and proper care I was receiving at first.

Made an appt to see Dr. G at 4pm. Got there and was told he left and to reschedule. I called to verify that they had my MRI. I was told Tower Radiology never sent the report. I called Tower Radiology and they said yes they did. Dr. Gorman office nor Tower Radiology were willing to call each other to find out where the report was. So I'm stuck in the middle. So I went there and got ithe MRI report myself. That afternoon, Jessica from Dr. Gorman's office called and they had the report the whole time. Jessica swore she would schedule me with Dr. Gorman and I kept my appointment. I arrived at the office and turns out I was again to see the Nurse Practitioner. I told Jessica I HAVE to see Dr. Gorman and ONLY Dr. Gorman. Only HE can read my report and decide what surgical procedure I need. She didn't apologize, but she said, ok! I'm fitting you in Wednesday, December 2 at 8am. Again, Gorman wasn't there , I give up.

Ive, been a patient of Dr Gorman for the past year. He has a sense of understanding whats necessary for pain management. He has recommended the RFA procedure for my back relief and it has been successful. The procedure is simple, quick and completed using only a local for pain. He has a great bed side manner and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend him and his entire staff for your pain relief.

I have bone on bone stage 4 osteoarthritis of my left knee. I was have horrible pain. So I called the office got an initial visit within 2 days and ablation within one week. I walked out of the office and back into my life. So thankful that there is an alternative for osteoarthritis vs having a total knee performed. Dr. Gorman is a caring professional helping people manage their pain and get back into living a full life. You all are so good at what you do, you are the best. Thank you.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Chad Gorman to family and friends. My first visit, today actually, went extremely well. I actually thought I was just going to have to tolerate the pain that I've experienced since a rear end car accident several months ago. Since COVID 19 caused my type of injury to be non life threatening, I've been unable to have a Doctor see me physically to tell me what my MRI revealed. This doctor, and his staff, were very good to me. I was able to get the appointment with relative ease, and now, procedures are planned to help with the pain. It's not "excruciating pain" ... I've had that before. But, it's more than just annoying. This Doctor, I feel, will help me get back to FANTASTIC!! Excellent so far!!!

His staff failed to tell me that he recently quit participating with Blue Cross. I underwent 2 epidural procedures under the assumption that they would be covered under my insurance. It wasn’t until I got my EOBs that I realized that he no longer participated. When I contacted his billing department and his office they both told me that they would process my bill as if he still participated with a Blue Cross. That has not been the case. The billing department has been a nightmare to deal with. I have been to many doctors with my numerous health issues and this has been the worst experience that I have ever had with billing.

It’s my belief Dr Chad Gorman is the best pain management physician in all of Tampa Bay. He successfully treated the source of my debilitating back pain. I’ve gone from bedridden to being able to do things I hadn’t done in over three years. Dr Gorman, simply put, is a “docs doc!” He took an assertive approach to diagnosing the cause of all my affliction and actually did the medical procedures to alleviate it. This was an answer to prayer! There are many pain management doctors out there. I had experience with probably a dozen from one company. And, I was tired of the monthly office visits and subsequent scripts. The medication wasn’t effective, and it didn’t address the root cause of my excruciating pain. Dr Gorman was proactive in finding viable solutions. And, I’m excited to say that the actions he took were amazingly successful. Dr Chad Gorman gave me my life back!!

The manner by which this arrogant man evaluated me and treated me as a new patient was completely contrary to the values and beliefs that he advertises on his website and punctuates with a recording of that awful British woman every time you call the office. I arrived at his office in excruciating pain. The information they wanted from me was more of a way to create a psychological profile of me rather than a physiological profile of my pain. Ninety percent of my visit was like a police interrogation. His first words to me were: "Do you want to tell me about the buprophamine?" I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. He explained that my urine came back positive for that drug. I had a valid Rx for that medication, but i had not taken any in months. I was absolutely honest and transparent with this "doctor," and never once did I ask for any medication -- only relief from my pain. I have to wait eight days in horrible pain before my MRI appointment because of a false positive.

Dr. Gorman is a rare kind a doctor: He lets you finish explaining what you are experiencing and why you are visiting him. In fact, he even asks questions during your explanation to gain a further understanding of what you are going through. He is a genuine doctor who is there, not only to help his patience but, to also educate patients on SEVERAL options of treatment, depending on your pain/ injury. You may be waiting a while to see Dr. Gorman because he his so thorough with patients but, Waiting for a doctor that cares for your needs and Is able to give you treatment plans for your pain is worth the wait tenfold these days. Thank you, Dr. Gorman. You’re the man ??

I have a back injury that I’ve had for 30 yrs.I had a wonderful doc in CT where I have lived for most of my life.I moved down here about 15 mths ago, needed & found a back doc who I thought would fill the shoes of my doc in CT. I was sadly mistaken & after many visits/injections w/no relief, they wanted to put me on Fentanyl! With the hx of what that drug can/does to ppl I was resistant, asked for other options, was told there was nothing. I then I realized I needed to find a new doc. I was cautiously optimistic when I met Dr Gorman for the 1st time. However after my first injection I realized I had hit the jackpot! His professionalism, expertise, confidence & great bedside manner has not only allowed me to believe there’s a possibility for me to live pain free (w/out drugs!) but his tx & care has allowed me to start living my active life again. While I know this may be a long & continuous road, I am at ease knowing I have one of the best docs out there. Anywhere! Thank you Dr G & staff!!

I've been seeing Dr Gorman since I relocated to Florida from Delaware. Today he diagnosed the cause of my severe pain and suffering. I most likely could have avoided unnecessary surgeries, injections, therapy, and other treatments had I found Dr Gorman sooner ! I now have a solution for my problem and this will restore my life to it's former glory.....not to mention that I may no longer need pain medication. For me and my family this is LIFE CHANGING !!! Dr Gorman is brilliant, kind ,compassionate, and also has a sense of humor which is a welcoming perk in today's world !!! If you are looking for a solution and not a mask .... if you are tired of being in pain then make an appointment with Dr Gorman. I also want to commend his team of nurses, associates, etc .They will work tirelessly to make sure that your tests or procedures, etc are processed quickly and are always available to answer any/all of your concerns and questions !!! An amazing practice hands down !!! Kim Mitchell

I have always had a great experience with Dr Gorman, he is very compassionate and does whatever he can to help. I have had multiple Drs in the past twelve years since my injury and he is the most down to earth easy to talk to Dr. he listens to me unlike most Drs and tries to come up with the most comprehensive treatment plan. He will take the time to answer any questions. There is not enough room to write all the positive things I have to say so I will just say he is amazing

I have been experiencing severe back pain since 2000. I went to Shands several times throughout the years to have ablations of my nerves. However, due to family obligations, I haven’t been able to get back there for this newset round of pain I’ve had! I found Dr. Gorman and went to see him! He did what Shands had done, and more, to fix the problems I had. His bedside manner is the best I’ve had in a long time. I would HIGHLY recommend him if you want no more pain!! He’s the best!!! Thank you!

Dr. Chad Gorman is not compassionate. I suffer from non-alcoholic liver disease, painful neuropathy, chronic pelvic pain, depression and suicidal tendencies when I don't have my meds. He was supposed to give me a 30 day supply upon discharge to get me through until I can see another doctor. He did not. He treated me for 4 months without my previous records. Needless to say, I turned him into the DEA. They are watching very closely. This will probably not get posted. Only the good reviews
