in Mount Hood Parkdale, OR |
Dr. Burgoyne is a very skilled surgeon. His pre-op and post-op care of my knee replacement has been excellent. He encourages me to questions anything and everything I can think of, and he provides me with clear explanations of procedures and recovery challenges and expectations. Him also shows a desire to constantly improve accepted surgical procedures. I believe Dr. Burgoyne is a welcome asset to the Hood River orthopedic medicine, and I hope he can establish his practice here.

I strive to provide the highest level of care and feel particularly in tune with high level athletes. Not only was I a collegiate athlete myself, but, I have continued to work with athletes throughout my career. I have cared for a wide range including weekend warriors, budding high school prospects, collegiate stars and professionals. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to be involved with several extreme sports and understand their unique needs. Below are some of the experiences that have shaped my career.

Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour (Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City)

International Supercross (China, Australia, Denmark)

Triathlons and Marathons (Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange County)

Eastern Oregon University Team Physician

High School Team Physician (Charleston, Santa Barbara)

Dr. Burgoyne says...

Cutting edge athletes demand cutting edge care. With training in arthroscopy and sports medicine I specialize in minimally invasive procedures that you can get in larger academic centers. Despite our small size, we are able to provide the most advanced procedures to speed your recovery.

Arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction (rotator cuff, labrum, AC joint)

Hip arthroscopy (impingement, labrum)

Arthroscopic knee reconstruction ("all inside" ACL, meniscus repair, cartilage repair)

Ankle arthroscopy (impingement, cartilage repair)

Tendon/Ligament reconstruction (shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle)

Injection therapy (steroid, hyaluronic acid, PRP)
