Dr. Dominguez is recognized as an expert in the field of reproductive medicine, in vitro fertilization and laparoendoscopic surgery. She obtained her Medical Degree from George Washington University, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California in San Diego. Dr. Dominguez has held faculty positions in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California in San Diego, the University of New Mexico and at Emory University in Atlanta. She has gained the respect of her colleagues as an exceptional reproductive endocrinologist and infertility expert and has published over 80 scientific articles, chapters, videos and abstracts. Doctor Dominguez has received several teaching awards throughout her career. Dr. Dominguez is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She speaks Spanish fluently and considers herself a physician that integrates both eastern and western care of the patient. She is holistic in her care giving very individualized treatment plans. She considers her self a physician that integrates knowledge and practices the full depth of reproductive endocrinology and infertility field. Her expertise and clinical skills are extensive and range from pediatric gynecology to menopausal hormone replacement to uterine anomalies and the treatment and management of endometriosis patients. Dr. Dominguez has received multiple awards through her career. She was elected into numerous societies because of her high scholastic and leadership capacities including: Alpha Omega Alpha - National Medical Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa - National Scholarship Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa - National Leadership Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta - National Pre-medical Honor Society and Psi Chi - National Psychology Honor Society. She was featured in many Who's Who including in International Youth Achievement. She also received many teaching awards while she was Assistant Professor in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico and at Emory University school of medicine and hospital including in 1998 Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Excellence in Teaching Award, 2001 Emory University Deans Teaching Award and in 2003 Emory Gynecology Teacher of the Year. Dr. Dominguez enjoys the marriage of eastern and western philosophy and the pursuit of well being. She try's to look into the future and evaluates a given patients present circumstances to look for weak links and how they can be modified to prevent future complications.
