Needham, MA |
Very materialistic, wait time exceeds 45 min, rude. She charged both my senior parents who are on mass health 25$ each for papers needed for their benefits ! And requested to see both of them to sign the papers although they have been her patients for two years ! Its all about money to her . She gets very rude if one tries to discus his own medical case with her, she almost kicked me out of the room because I was asking about a different medication for dad, we've had enough, its time to move on.

This doctor could care less about what a patient truly needs. I am a nurse so I should know. She practices "drive through" medicine. There is no in depth discussions about treatment options. If you're a woman with osteo...it's "here's your prescription" for a bisphosphinate drug where the side effects are more likely to do greater harm than good, and calcium! Risk benefit should always be considered. I did the research. There is a plethora of new information and misinformation about osteo & Rx.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Tong. I've been a patient for quite some time and always felt that my needs and concerns were addressed. The staff is also great and generally get me in for an appointment quickly.

Dr. Tong This woman has no patience and no personality. She's in it for the money and that's it. She dresses unprofessional and she runs late most of the time. Once I heard that she wanted to take a nap in one of exam rooms between patients. Her working staff has taken on her personality traits with unprofessional attitudes over the phone lack of patience and rushing you off the phone.

Nice MD but has an ego & needs to understand patients know their own bodies & CAN tell when something doesn't feel right & have input on their care. To make a patient feel like complete & total crap because you have an ego that needs to be filled up is so wrong & really just shows how insecure a person is,no matter their level of education or how many degrees they have. Listen to your patients. When they are concerned about something listen to them instead of judging or throwing out digs.

I was hoping to have a good relationship with Dr.Tong, but she could barely hide her contempt for me. I admit my compliance was not great, but a good doctor has an abundance of patience. She did not. I got so I dreaded our interactions. In the end, she was neglectful about phoning in refills for important medicines- I guess she wanted to see me before she refilled them, although I had been taking them for 20 years. I ended up with 2 stents in my heart. I don't feel good about that.
