Dr. Wakeham is an extraordinary and talented physician and we were fortunate to have her care for our mother for the past 6 months. She brings a skill set in geriatric care that is unmatched; a compassion and constant regular communication with her patients/families we have never experienced before; and is respected nation-wide in geriatric care. There is NO ONE IN CENTRAL TEXAS that can do what she can in the field of geriatric care. She is the best! Trust her to care for the ones you love!

She is one of only fifty MDs in our nation that has a speciality in Geriatric Rehabilitation and in my opinion she is at the top of that class. She is caring and compassionate AND a super physician.

Doesn't follow through with what she says she can/ will do. She has a great bedside/ interaction skills with patients and families- heart behind what she does and why. However, took weeks to communicate back. Recently I have left numerous phone messages at office and sent numerous emails to no avail. (Our experience was not in office, but in an assisted living situation.)
