Dr. Catherine Murray received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary in Canada in 1977. Upon graduation, she completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at the University of Alberta. Dr. Murray moved to Louisiana in 1984 and became Board Certified in Gastroenterology and founded the practice known as Gastroenterology Group. Dr. Murray is still a resident of St. Tammany Parish. She maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. Dr Murray is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore, and Louisiana Heart Hospital. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, she has practiced in Covington for over 25 years.
