I am a physician so I really check out other doctors before going to them. I found Dr. Chartier to be well trained and a delightful person to deal with. She was easy to talk to and really listened. You never felt rushed when she saw you. Unfortunately I moved out of state but continued to go back yearly for my exams until insurance changes would not let me. I have yet to find a doctor as caring and nice in my new state of residence. In total she treated me for over 17 years!

I waited an hour and 20 minutes. When I finally saw her she was rude, didn't listen well, was demeaning and patronizing and rushed to a diagnosis involving surgery. I quickly got a second opinion and will not be needing surgery. I found her demeanor awful and would never return.

She is fantastic. Everyone raves about her - the only problem is that she can't clone herself. She's a very busy, in-demand doctor and I STILL recommend people to her.....sometimes it's a longer wait to get an appointment than they are willing to spend. But their loss!

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
