Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Passik ""People don't realize what is being done here. This is not routine for a community hospital. We may not have the big name, but we have the skill and the people to do things just as good, if not better. The proof is in the outcome of our patients. A lot of my patients will ask me if they should go to a larger center for their procedure instead. I let them know I worked at a larger center, and I think we can to a better job here." Dr. Passik came to the Danbury Hospital from Yale New Haven Hospital where he was the Attending Surgeon, Associate Section Chief of Cardiac Surgery and a Clinical Instructor in Surgery for the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Passik focuses on adult cardiothoracic surgery. He and his team have the advantage of longevity together, that works toward the benefit of all patients. "Working with the same team every day gives us the advantage of getting better and better at what we do.""
