Want same day appointment? Not with this dr
Love Dr. Carpenter and his PA Billy Sanders, but since changing from a private practice to a big Corporation SSM, getting a same day appointment is impossible and the front desk people aren't friendly and have no empathy!

Dr. Carpenter is personable and professional. He allows you to ask questions and takes the time to answer them to your satisfaction. I had two doctors pass away within a year and stumbled through two other offices before making the decision to see Dr. Carpenter whose office is an hour and fifteen minutes from my home. Best decision I ever made for my health was to drive the distance to his office.

The lady doing referrals was horrible. She would send referral request out to random doctor without actually calling to see if available in the near future. She would not return called left for her. It took 3 weeks to finally get a referral, but sadly ended up having to start using another doctor because the referral person could not do her job. The lady before her was very helpful and returned your calls, and got your referral accomplished quickly and did not take 2 weeks.

Horrible practice. Dr. Carpenter puts his "beliefs" above his patients needs. Also had blood work done. 2 months later, I call to get results. They call me back 2 days later and ask me to make an appointment to review the results. He is an appointment hoarder.

My 3 sons and I have been patients of Dr. Carpenters since he was still with Dr. Stafford. He is a great doctor and I loved being his patient and fully trusted him with my children. I would have been his patient till the end if it was not for Sabrina in the scheduling. She was really rude to me and just hung up on me. Not only was it unprofessional but it was also uncalled for. I didn't raise my voice or say anything mean or disrespectful in any shape or form. Nobody should be treated that way.

We love Dr. Carpenter! I started taking my son to him when he was 4 months old because I did not like the care he was getting at his previous doctor. Dr. Carpenter got us on the right track immediately and has been fantastic with my son since, who is now 4 years old. The staff is also wonderful!

Like so many others, never listen to chest, or heart. About killed myself with improper insulin dosing. Would not refer to an endocrinologist. Never got closer than 20 ft. From me at any time. Was rude, not to encouraging with health issues. Myself and a sibling both left his practice with life threatening conditions requiring a lot of hospital time and multiple surgeries. But final straw was the chewing out I recieved because my insurance would not cover treatments he wanted to give.....

Cary has taken care of my family since 2000 when we moved to Choctaw and I give him my highest recommendation. Cary found out that I had a very critical disease when it had gone undiscovered by others -- he is thorough and complete in his work and does an exemplary job for every member of the family. I am grateful to Cary and his staff for their work with my family, and the community at large.

Never touches you to even check your condition just types irrelevant information into a tablet. Knows nothing about your health even when you transfer all your medical records. Knows nothing about surgeries you've had when they referred you to the surgeon. Inappropriate comments made about his genital in front of children. He cares nothing about your health and does nothing to treat you even when other physicians do the diagnosing for him. There 3 to 4 hours each visit. Please stearate clear
