I would highly recommend Dr. Carrie Sloan as an OBGYN physician. I find her to be friendly, concerned about me, a good listener, and highly professional. She does a good thorough exam and explains medical needs. I am 71 years old and she relates to my age needs and inquires about my circumstances. I found her to be an excellent physician.

Being seen was impossible! I had my heart set on giving birth at Lone Peak I even traveled 45 minutes to be seen by Dr. Sloan and I would drive and hour and a half there and back and 3 times I left with out being seen. Not to mention I had a really bad yeast infection couldn't wait the 2 hours in the lobby even after being early to my appointment and they said "Sorry you can go to an instacare!" Worst Experience EVER!
We are sorry to hear this and truly value your feedback. Patient experience is important to us at Lone Peak OBGYN so we will make every effort to address any concerns you may have. Your comments have been shared with Ashley, our Practice Manager. If you would like to speak with someone about this experience, please call 801-523-3053.

I struggled finding a doctor when I moved here 7 years ago. From my first visit with Dr. Sloan I found that she was very easy to talk to, was concerned about what I had to say and I quickly decided I liked her. When my insurance was no longer taken I switched my plan so I could continue with her. In fact the entire office staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend her!
Sandy, UT |
Carrie is a great doctor, she handled everything with professionalism and care. We disagreed on a couple of treatments but it was only when she wasn't comfortable with what I wanted to do for myself. My birth control option she didn't perform herself, the natural supplements I wanted to use while pregnant she didn't agree with, and the method of induction for my pregnancy she didn't have luck with in the past. But I think she only wanted what was best for me and my baby. I will keep coming back
South Jordan |
I went to Dr. Sloan for a preconception checkup, and an annual exam. I had some questions about conception and pregnancy and I felt like I was just annoying her. She made me feel dumb about the questions I was asking and I felt like she was in a rush to go somewhere. I didn't feel like she was someone I would feel comfortable going to when I was pregnant or in the hospital in labor. I thought maybe it was just a bad day for her, but My friend also went to her and had a very similar experience.
Thank you for your feedback. We are very concerned with your recent experience in our office. We would like to speak to you further about your experience. Please call the Practice Manager, Ashley Gold, at 801-545-5124.

I really like Dr. Sloan. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She takes the time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns which I really appreciate since my last OB was always in a hurry (he literally stood with his hand on the doorknob, ready to rush out as soon as possible). The office is new and very nice. All of the staff are great. I rarely have to wait for my appointment and last time I did (a delivery put them behind), they gave me a Cold Stone gift card.

Dr. Sloan is professional and compassionate. She has supported my family through two beautiful pregnancies. She answers all of my questions and assures me of any concern I may have. Simply put she is the best!

I absolutely love and adore Dr. Carrie Sloan!! She has been a wonderful, compassionate and informative physician, thoroughly explaining everything that she's doing, testing and looking for. She is genuine and professional. She takes the time to talk, explain and listen to you. She is a very caring doctor and she makes you feel at ease. My husband and I have been so blessed and fortunate to have her as our doctor throughout our entire pregnancy. I highly recommend her!!
