This doctor ruined my life....period. She said she would do a lateral meniscus trim---that's all. She ended up doing microfracturing on my knee (that was NOT necessary according to 2 other surgeons), and then kept me on NSAIDs, which are contraindicated for cartilage growth. Dr. Pelmas did a total shoulder replacement. She explains everything very well, answers questions, and is thorough. My surgery was a huge success! No more pain, full range of motion and full strength.
