i had fusion surgery & surgery for stenosis. surgery went well. dr angeles both listens & evaluates in a very professional manor. she is now w/keiper spine instead of neurospine institute. i had surgery by another doctor from neurospine 7 years ago & i can't say that went as well as the surgery dr angeles performed. the surgery was performed at mckenzie willamette hospital rather than riverbend, as i had a horrible experience at riverbend & will never go back there, so i was over joyed that she could operate at mckenzie willamette. i realize back surgery can be really tricky, but i'm very grateful she was able to perform these surgeries on me. i would not hesitate to go to her again or recommend her to others.

I have an issue with S1 Degenerative Disc with a bulging disc pinching my sciatic nerve so I am in constant pain so my Dr referred me to this Dr When I waited a week after of no sleep and excruciating pain I was told She had rejected me as a patient due to my OHP insurance not being what she would work with Some Caring Doctor to leave a patient in Excruciating pain with this issue I personally called Keizer Spine and was told this I will be reporting this doctor to the proper agencies she has to go thru to be certified in Oregon for medical discrimination Some have good things to say about her thats fine But in this instance you would think she could see past her own financial profits and help a patient who is in dire need of services

I saw Dr. Angeles for literally about 5 minutes. She booked me for surgery the next day. By the time I got home, I had a message on my telephone that they wanted the whole Cost of the surgery paid immediately. I could only make a partial payment and did so. Immediately after I was discharged from the hospital, I had a letter in my mailbox telling me that they were going to charge my credit card for the remaining payments. I literally was one day out of surgery when I received this. My wife called to ask some post-surgery questions, and spoke with Dr. Angeles' PA, Dr. Nyingh who was very helpful, but aside from the telephone call she initiated for information, the only contact from Dr. Angeles' office has been three telephone calls asking for additional money. I am 2 weeks post surgery and have already made one payment. My insurance also should be covering some of the cost. This seems excessive, and also makes me believe she is only interested in the money, not the patient.

Dr Angeles saved my life. My Drs of 20 plus years in Medford/Ashland refused to treat me. I met Dr Angeles on Wed., She scheduled surgery for Monday, after she did a couple other people. Thurs a.m. I did a new MRI and cat scan, bc mine were 5 months old. On my drive back to Medford, her office called and said she had cleared her Monday schedule to Tues, and I was to be at the hospital 5 30 a.m. Monday. I was becoming a paraplegic and loosing bladder control bc this disk was pinching off my spinal canal. The pain of the last 2 1/2 months was incredible; and I had lost hope, while BEGGING my old Drs to operate. DR Angeles has compassion. Also when I originally called, I was a new patient. I didn't wait months to see her. I was given a appt. Date approx 2 weeks out. When I was given Dr Angeles' name, I asked my shoulder Dr. who is also in Eugene, about her. He said she was the best neurosurgeon in Eugene. Dr Angeles took out old hardware, put in new disk and unpinched my nerves .

I had two surgeries by Dr. Angeles. A lumbar discectomy with decompressions December 2017 and a cervical disk replacement C5-C6 (Mobi-C) June 2018. Both surgeries were a success. I highly recommend Dr. Angeles and her team. She is a skilled surgeon. She will let you know what can and cannot be done from a surgical approach. I would select her all over again to preform my surgeries.

I was referred to Dr Angeles for three bulging discs in my neck. I have atrophy in my right arm and generally feel like I am suffering from the worst sickness I have ever had. After two weeks of waiting in agony for a new MRI and expecting a call for the appointment, I called her office to find out why I am still waiting. I was told Dr Angeles was on vacation and she had forgotten to order the MRI!! Her assistant has the personality of a mealworm. My new referral is for a doctor in Medford.

Dr. Angeles was a godsend at very stressful time for us. She has a wonderful sense of humor and thoroughly listened then responded to our questions. Past experience with neurosurgeons have shown what bad bedside manner really is. But Dr. Angeles never once treated us as if we were asking stupid questions or that she was in a hurry to be elsewhere or doing something else. In all seriousness, we hope we don't need her services again, but would recommend her highly to anyone who does.

Dr. Angeles gave me my life back! I was bedridden and wondered if I'd ever walk again. When she saw me she was capable, kind, and got right down to business. She admitted me to the hospital that day and worked me into her surgery schedule the following evening. The next morning when I stood up the previous pain was completely gone and within 10 days the surgical pain was also gone. I can never repay Dr Angeles for what she did for me. She is truly a gifted surgeon who love people!

When I broke my back, I had grave concerns about surgery, having grown up in a time when mention of back surgery was all but anathema (few people related anything but horror stories about their experiences). So it was with no little trepidation that I gave consent for an operation on my spine. I can describe the results as nothing short of amazing! It's been 13 months now, and I have had no issues, not even where flexibility is concerned. Dr. Angeles is an outstanding surgeon and a nice person.

Dr. Angeles is my HERO! She gave me my life back by doing excellent lumbar surgery to get me out of a wheelchair where I had been bound for 3 years after being run over by a large cow! Several other highly esteemed spine surgeons had refused to operate on me before I lost weight, which I found impossible to do while in a WC all day. Thanks to Dr Angeles, my spine is now fixed so I can live again, a happy and productive life!

I've been around the medical community for 15 years as a patient and a medical assistant. I had back surgery with dr Angeles back in 2014 as she was very compassionate and took her time with me. I know that put her other patient to longer waiting times but to her she wanted to make sure I understood the surgery and that I was comfortable. I know that patients time is just as valuable as the doctors but my wait was worth it!!!
