About Me

Dr Graf considers himself to be very conservative in his approach to orthopaedic and spinal conditions. Using multiple modalities such as physical therapy and injections, many conditions are treated non-surgically. When surgery is necessary, Dr Graf'...

After many months of intense back pain and treatments from other doctors that did not help me, I was living a very compromised daily life. I am grateful to have been a patient of Dr. Graft because he correctly diagnosed my issues. His professional concern gave me confidence to have the spinal fusion, and he was excellent in helping me to understand the procedure, as well as all aspects of my recovery. I feel he is the very best in his field.

After being misdiagnosed by another doctor and then being told I needed spinal fusion by yet another doctor, I did the research and found Dr. Carl Graf and made an appt. for a 3rd opinion and Dr. Graf was the best! He said, after looking at my x-rays and MRI that I did NOT need spinal fusion but just a laminectomy. He got me in as soon as possible (2 weeks) and my surgery was absolutely successful! I could not walk for almost 2 months and my life was very limited to what I could do because of spinal stenosis. Dr. Graf gave me my life back!! I am forever grateful for his skill and success with my surgery and I hope he doesn't move away in case I need him again!! Highly recommend, and by the way, his bedside manner if VERY good, he is very easy to talk to and he really listens. I'm telling everyone I know who may need back or any kind of other orthopedic surgery to call Dr. Graf, I have his cards in my purse and hand them out as needed.

After being treated by other doctors for back pain for some time I went to see Dr.Graf after the recommendation of my family doctor. it didn't take long t feel at ease with Dr Graf. After testing he showed and explained what I needed all you had to do was look at the radiology films and that is what he said at the very start.

For 2 years I had dealt with a work related back injury. Lower lumbar. The pain went from my lower back, burning down the side of my leg with tingling and numbness in my shin and top of my foot. Couldn't stand for more than 5 or 10 min without pain and having to sit or lay for relief. After all other attempts to correct my injury failed including epidurals, surgery was recommended. As you can imagine, that thought is scary and you can only hope you get the best possible surgeon! I DID! 5-STARS!

Dr graf performed a spinal fusion on me. It was my first surgery. He was clear in describing what he'd do and what to expect. He was confident without being arrogant... he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. My recovery has gone very well and I'm back to living a full life!

I wrote a negative review on December 8, 2016 about the mismanagement in office personnel. I meant to get a retraction review out earlier. Since that time I did undergo physical therapy and had seen Dr. Graf again. He was very concerned about my experience and told me that the office management had revised their procedures. I was happy to hear that and felt I could return to his practice for further care. I plan to make an appointment to have further evaluation about my back pain.

Dr. Graf was kind, informative, and honest through every step of my care. My surgery was thoroughly explained and went well under Dr. Graf. Dr. Graf listened to me and what I was feeling and prescribed physical therapy which helped a lot. I am glad I chose to do the surgery and know if I should ever have any problems in the future, Dr. Graf will be able to provide the best care for me.

Don't bother with this one, he won't even help people that have Medicaid won't help the people that really need it!! Had back pain for 38 years since a horseback riding accident and you will get NO HELP from Dr.Graf.

I met with 3 other spine specialists and after meeting Dr. Graf, I knew he was the one. My pre and post surgery, as well as the surgery itself went so well, I don't even remember the leg pain I had for the previous 9 months. I was petrified about spine surgery, but Dr. Graf eased my fear and gave me all the information I needed to calm myself down. It worked!

My experience with Dr. Graf has been the best. He is personable and honest. His skill as a surgeon is beyond reproach. I would, and have recommended him to many people and friends. I trust his judgement completely and that is a very important part of the doctor/patient relationship. He proceeds with caution and is not knife happy. If you need spinal surgery, he is the best.

Dr. Graf did an superior job in explaining the procedure that he planned on utilizing in correcting my spinal stenosis. i.e. risks, recovery time and the appropriate post surgery exercises. This is the second type of spinal surgery that Dr. Graf has preformed on me. And in both cases, I am happy to report that he has once again preformed flawlessly. In addition, Dr. Graf was and continues to be very supportive in the post surgery stage of the healing process. And is available 24 x 7.
