I found the phone staff could use a little extra training so their answers could be more consistent. It was frustrating at first because it take so long to get in for initial visit. But now that I have been going there for a while things have smoothed out and they are doing a good job. They listen, and that's important when you have carried "chronic pain luggage" around for a long time. I add a positive review based upon my experiences thus far.

I am in the process of moving from Colorado to Portland. I found Dr. Balog online and left my contact information and a short paragraph about my history and needs as they requested. Less than 30 minutes later I received a call from Dr. Balog telling me that he received my email and that he is going to have one of his staff call me and get me in for an appointment. He told me that they were there for me and not to worry. I haven't even seen this doctor yet and I am already impressed.

Patients beware of this Dr and his Office, think real hard before making this your Dr, my husband has been treated cruelly and Unjust, they will leave you high and dry if they want to, for being terminated which we do not agree! there is no way my husband did what they said he did to get terminated! They sent No letter to tell us, didn't find out until the next month! And they refuse to help you in any way! Not Ethical Not Professional No Compassion! The Office is another nightmare!
in Portland, OR |
Love the Drs. They know who you are. They talk to you and not at you.
in Hillsboro, OR |
Office took 6 months to schedule, verified insurance. My only visit, Dr changed my entire pain regimen (new narcotic) ordered injection. Never followed up to see how I was doing, never got injection, no refills for new Rx. Dropped me without follow-up because billing clerk did not want to be bothered with 5-7 day insurance approval process - why was this not done prior to seeing me? Billing clerk accused me of calling her a liar which was surreal, distressing - not true. Problems at this office!
