Care Philosophy

Helping patients is such a huge thing to me. I love being able to give back to the community and just help people feel better. I give them a chance to get back to their fun activities like playing the piano and playing golf. The best referral is sometimes not another physicians but your patients that you've already taken care of and have had a good experience. I have been so blessed by so many wonderful patients that have sent friends and family after they've had a good experience. I specialize in hand and upper-extremity surgery. I am double-fellowship trained in not only hand surgery but also shoulder and elbow. That was an extra year of training doing hand surgery followed by another year doing just shoulder and elbow. I can really focus on those aspects--a lot of rotator cuff tears, carpal tunnel syndrome and compressive neuropathies of the upper extremities. I also see a lot of trauma -- fractures and sports injuries and age-related things like arthritis in the hand.Read more

The most professonal doctor I have ever seen. Prompt with service, didn't over charge. Treated me like I was her only patient. multiple thumbs up for her!

Being referred to Dr Cordell was a huge mistake. I waited for a month to see her as she is a specialist. 4 months into this I am praying that I don't have permanent damage. Disrespectfull attendant delivered me to my room jumping me bc an initial pain from my thumb to both arms up to my shoulders. Her words "they don't treat multiple symptoms?' I walked away with a 5 minute evaluation and she would only write OT treatment for one side of my body. I now have 2 PT charts w/double charges.

She is excellent in all areas! She explains everything, every step she's taking with you.... she tells you what & why she chose to do this method of treatment. And she's honest about it all. We could not of ask for a better doctor than Dr Cordell! We will definitely be using her if ever need her area of help again! Thank God for this great lady, she even ask if we minded her praying with us prior to each surgery & that is awesome with us ?
