Prompt appointment, minimal waiting in lobby, excellent explanations and willingness to draw pictures for a visual learner, advised therapy instead of surgery and said no need to return if doing better. And he’s pleasant and funny, can’t be beat!

Came to this Dr looking for answers after fiasco of tests and treatment by his colleague. We anticipated a better course of treatment by this"specialist". Only recommendation was elbow surgery on my 15 year old. No assurance surgery was the long term cure, especially after we obtained 2nd opinion with from children's ortho specialist at CMC sports medicine clinic. The Dr is a nice guy and personable, but not our cup of tea. Also, waiting for refund x 8 wks... not holding breath , still trying

Dr Atkinson is an excellent Physician. I've been under his care for almost a year. I've had two hand surgeries by him that required a lot of tedious and meticulous reconstruction. His demeanor, knowledge, outlook, and caring personality along with his medical expertise is outstanding! In therapy, I hear only kinds words of appreciation of Dr Atkinson by other patients. Dr. Atkinson is truly and genuinely a good hearted person and Physician inside and out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Atkinson!!!

I just had my second (and final) missed appointment with Dr Atkinson. After waiting 30 minutes for my last appointment, the nurse came out and told me I would have to reschedule. He apparently was running an hour and a half late. I rescheduled for this week and asked the office to let me know prior to me leaving work early if Dr Atkinson was running behind. I was sent to the examination room on time and asked to wait. During this time, I had 2 different nurses come by and ask me what my nam

I would highly recommend Dr. Atkinson! & HIS STAFF. He is HONEST, so kind, sincere, caring, funny and truly spends time with you. I am a mother of a teenage boy with lots of questions. He made sure he put me at ease and answered all my questions patiently! He also helped my son understand the condition. I was extremely pleased with the care he provided to my son the time he took to explain it all. Recovery was fast and smooth, no unnecessary expense. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST DOC I'VE EVER SEEN..
