Areas of interest include arthroscopic surgical treatment of the knee, shoulder and hip. Dr. Craythorne received a B.A degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Craythorne received his Doctorate of Medicine form the University of Miami School of Medicine and served his internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was selected for fellowship training in Sports Medicine with Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Craythorne has been in practice in Tampa, FL since 1994. Professional Associations American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Awards & Accolades J. Crockett Farnell Award from Tampa Chapter of the NFL Hall of Fame in 2007 for outstanding contribution to amateur football. John J. Even if you have an appt. you'll be pushed to the back of the line if a pro athlete walks in. I waited 1 1/2 hours without seeing the doctor because I left in frustration. Extremely unprofessional practice of medicine.
