Went for lower back pain. Dr. Bailey nailed the problem and I am so indebted to him. Major surgery and very successful and I am no spring chicken! Went to quite a few Drs. for their input and they both were 100% wrong. Thank God I went with Dr. Bailey!

I have referred a number of people to Dr. Bailey. He is a very competent surgeon. With that said, I have had many issues with my back and he told me the first visit that we address one problem at a time. I saw him in Jan to address a new (another) issue. He told me his office was going to set up appt for xrays, etc and they would contact before my next appt. I was scheduled for another appt in June, it was cancelled due to COVID and another appt scheduled for September. I received at least 6 confirmation phone calls and emails. I was in the office 30 minutes prior to the appt time, sat for 2 hours, someone came in, pushed around on my back, left and Dr. Bailey came in and said follow up would be scheduled, follow him out. He spent less than 45 seconds with me and did not explain, at all, what the plan was going forward. The person that came in pushing on my back said they would look over the MRI when it was complete. What MRI?! The one done in Jan or a new one?

I met Dr. Bailey in the Roper ED when I was emergently admitted with a spinal abscess. That was 3 months ago. He is great at explaining what, why and how of treatment, showing you what is going on on the MRI. He was patient with my questions and concerns and answered them frankly.

I had been managed for 13 years with multi-level back pain. I was no longer getting relief so I went to see Dr. Bailey for second opinion. He viewed my images and said I was in a must have surgery condition. I am now 13 months out from a 2 level lumbar fusion, L4-L5, L5-S1. I am pain free with no pain medication. If I over do it, I can rest and be good by the next morning. Thank you Dr. Bailey I'm better than I've been in years. Wonderful to be pain free.
