He has been in medical practice for the past sixty years and focuses on the treatment of incurable diseases including ALS, Parkinson Disease, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Tay Sachs, Sandhoff Disease, Diabetes, Kidney Failure, Polycystic Kidneys, Cystic Fibrosis, COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis. He also has training in Tissue Engineering and protocols are being designed to treat tracheal atresia, uncontrollable diabetes with a scaffold polymer seeded with pancreatic islet stem cells that produce insulin and a scaffold seeded with autologous mesenchymal stem cells for polycystic kidneys. Dr. Feinerman has developed innovative treatments for COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis that focus on stopping the progress of these diseases and regeneration of lung tissue."
