G.O.A.T provider here!
I had c6/7 fusion 8 wks ago and couldn’t be more thrilled with Dr. Ozgur and staff. I was admitted to the hospital with numbness and weakness in all extremities (hands were like claws sometimes and my legs were very heavy) and was told by the neurosurgeon on call I needed surgery stat. The on-call surgeon did not get great reviews, so despite advice, I left the hospital and luckily got an apt. with Dr. Ozgur. I had complications from a previous c4-6 disc replacement 5 yrs prior (my vocal cord was injured and I lost my voice; I got another surgery to repair it) so I did not want to settle for my second cervical spine surgeon. Now for the good part- this surgeon and staff (TY Janine! And Bernice and team!) are pure excellence! They are honest, supportive, and very skilled. Dr. Ozgur gave me my life back. I am an active 47 yo- yoga teacher, mom, and nurse and I have NO pain, numbness, or weakness. I am religious with P.T. and getting strong again. Exponentially grateful,Dr. O!

Dr. Ozgur is amazing!
I would like to share a GREAT experience with Dr. Ozgur and his staff. For many years I have suffered from lower back and neck pain. Several months ago the pain became severe with my left leg going numb and my right leg burning. Looking for recommendations Dr. Ozgur's name repeatedly came up as the best of the best! My initial consultation was a bit scary as I was informed I would need four surgeries. Two on my lower back and two on my neck to fuse C-3 through C-7. Dr. Ozgur further explained that although one of the discs in my lower back was bulging 14mm my neck was far more serious and needed immediate surgery! The staff was amazing getting everything arranged, answering many questions and putting all of my concerns to rest. Dr. Ozgur did the front of my neck on Tuesday and the back on Thursday. I was released from the hospital on Friday. (The staff at Hoag all raved about Dr. Ozgur). The first two weeks were a bit tough but I bounced back quickly after that! I was back to work on

Dr. Ozgur and his team are the best! It has been over 1 month since my microdiscectomy/laminotomy and my intense sciatic pain I used to experience down my leg is gone. Amazing! I was suffering for months from having disc herniation of 0.9mm at L4-5 along with spinal stenosis, but I am now able to walk and drive with no difficulties. Dr. Ozgur took the time to explain and answer all my questions before and after the surgery. I felt I was in good hands throughout the entire process and can’t thank him and his staff (i/c Taehee, Yulia) enough for the quality care I received.

It has been two months post-op and I am able to jog for the first time in three years thanks to Dr. Ozgur! I had an excellent experience from initial consultation to final outcome. I met Dr. Ozgur and I knew immediately he would be the one to perform the operation on me. The thought of having surgery on my spine was terrifying, yet he eased my fears. Dr. Ozgur had a humble confidence about him... he thoroughly explained the procedure and potential risks and he did so with kindness. He did not rush me or talk down to me, which I've experienced all too often with doctors. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with back pain.

After years of back pain and numbness, I was recommended to see Dr. Ozgur for my spinal stenosis and to discuss minimally invasive surgery. I immediately found him to be professional and friendly. He was thorough in his analysis and he explained the process and procedure clearly and was patient with me throughout. What I really appreciated was that Dr. Ozgur never pushed the surgery on me and gave me every chance to get out of it with alternative treatments. In the end, my pain got too great and I went through with the surgery. It was very successful. I got immediate relief and Dr. Ozgur's diagnosis was spot-on. His staff followed up with me during the post-op period. Thank you, Dr. Ozgur, for doing such a great job and giving me back my mobility!

Cannot say enough about the care, consideration, preparation and precision of Dr. Oz & his remarkable team!! The best team captain attracts & leads other stars and that was surely this case. From initial consult to (L-3-4-5 / S-1) surgery in 8 days speaks volumes about a busy brain & spine surgeon. At no time did I feel rushed, though. They all went to GREAT lengths to let me know what to expect. I can tell you I felt absolutely confident I was in the very best hands. Liked how Dr. Oz & Taehee visited me pre-op to explain & reassure. The surgery was totally UNeventful. PA Taehee and the HOAG team were amazing. I was walking 90 min after surgery and had almost no pain even then. Nor since. Now 4 weeks later, I am about 90% recovered, biking daily, and have had no bleeding, no surprises, no "flashback" pain. I've especially appreciated the frequent telephone follow ups from Taehee, even later the day of surgery after my discharge. Dr. Oz, plus Yulia his office manager, and the

For ten years I suffered from increasing pain in the lower back and buttocks spreading into thighs and lower legs, which became so intense that I could only stand in hunched position and barely walk anymore. Diagnosis: herniated disc at L4-L5 and lumbar spinal stenosis. Countless Physical Therapy sessions, traction therapy, epidural injections and pain relief drugs did not bring sustained help. My condition became so unbearable that I searched for help by surgery, but was scared of traditional spinal fusion using major metal inserts. Fortunately, I found Dr. Ozgur as specialist in minimal invasive surgery. He agreed to treat me and explained how to proceed differently. Right after surgery, all pain due to the spinal condition was gone, and there was only minor pain due to the surgery. Now, 6 weeks after surgery, I can walk on most days free of pain more than 5000 steps. I am grateful and deeply impressed by the performance of modern medicine in the hands of Dr. Ozgur.

Dr. Ozgur and his team performed minimally invasive microdecompression at three levels in my lumbar spine. The pain has resolved and I could not be happier with my experience. The One Brain and Spine practice is a model for the medical profession. The team patient, caring, professional, timely, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Ozgur.

Absolutely THE BEST spine surgeon around. My oldest son at 16 consulted Dr. Ozgur four years ago for disc herniation issues. We were advised to try every conservative route possible which we did but after 4 continuous years of pain and degeneration Dr. Ozgur felt it was time to do disc fusion. I can not tell you how absolutely terrific the surgery went with minimal pain and discomfort for my son. He was up and walking after having three discs fused three hours after surgery. One week later and we are almost 100 percent. Dr. Ozgur and his staff are absolute God sent! My sons pain that he felt on a daily basis is GONE ?? Thank you Dr ozgur! Would NEVER consider another surgeon. Dr . Ozgur IS THE BEST

Dr. Ozgur his PA Jordan and Yulia his office manager are top notch. I recently had surgery for cervical fusion C3-C6. I am still recovering and started physical therapy. Dr. Ozgur is a fantastic surgeon and Jordan his PA has been great with post operative follow up, answering all of my questions and concerns. Yulia is so professional and arranged my pre-surgery and post-surgery tests and procedures. I am so thankful in that I decided on Dr. Ozgur and his team. I highly recommend him to anyone who may need surgery.

CONT. POST PART 3:, they walked me through it, held my hand and were always just a phone call away. Jordon talked to me whenever I needed something or even just to listen and reassure me. I was at a loss for words. Their empathy, caring and compassion showed in everything they did for me. Anytime I asked for something it was done. It's been 6 weeks since my surgery, my back and leg pains are completely gone and I’m off all the medication I was taking. I have a life again, I can walk on the beach again, I can just walk AGAIN!!!!! Thank you so much for giving me my life back. After my surgery when I was walking around through the hall at the hospital, one of the nurses ask me who my surgeon was? I told her Dr Ozgur, and she replied, “oh yeah I already knew that all of his patients recover faster and go home earlier than any other doctor.” So please don't wait as long as I did, don't wait until the pain is unbearable, make an appointment, Thank you, you are my SUPERHERO!

Dr Ozgur is simply the best! During our first meeting, the doctor listened to my concerns and fully explained my options. There is no rush to surgery. Several weeks later after an in-depth consultation, we agreed surgery was the only option to help me. I had full confidence because of the success other family members and friends had experienced with Dr. Ozgur. He performed a robotic minimally invasive Lower spine surgery on me to literally relieve all of my sciatic pain. I was up and walking my neighborhood street the next day. This was life changing for me! His team is first rate. I could call with questions or ask for help anytime. I will always be grateful to Dr Ozgur. Many thanks as well to Jordan and Yulia!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Ozgur. This is the first review for a physician I have left As a neurologist myself, I would only allow the best to mess with my spine cord. He did not disappoint; he listened to my history, looked at my films, recommended excellent physicians to see for further studies prior to seeing me back where we had a personal discussion of my options. He clearly cares about his patients. Further, his staff are also very warm and helpful. The day of surgery many Hoag Hospital staff commented how “lucky” I was to have Dr. Ozgur....such spontaneous praise from other health professionals further helped me go into surgery and later home with a positive attitude. I have been supported during recovery as well. Could not recommend a physician more highly.

Thank You... Surgical "DREAM TEAM SUPREME"...that is what I am calling Dr. Ozgur, Jordan (Dr. Ozgur's PA), Yulia (scheduler and coordinator), and Dr. Brian Cauley (anesthesiologist). It has only been 3 weeks to the day that I had my extensive surgery and I feel GREAT! Ready to begin my first physical therapy session next weekI had suffered with debilitating back pain that truly ended up impairing my daily living and exhausted all of the non-surgical options before my surgery consultation...(injections, physical therapy, pain management...) After much in-depth research, I telephoned Dr. Ozgur's office and spoke with Yulia. Her efficient, pleasant manner was so welcoming and thank goodness she scheduled a consultation with Dr. Ozgur and Jordan. Dr. Ozgur and Jordan had reviewed the detailed information I brought them from my past history and failed attempts... and proceeded to give a detailed explanation of what surgical procedures they thought would help me and exceeded expectation

Thank you Dr. Ozgur, Jordan, PA and Yulia, office manager for giving me my life back. My passion in life has been riding horses and hiking with my husband with our two cattle dogs. I had to give all these activities up because of severe back pain. I decided surgery was my only hope when the injections weren't helping. I live in Murrieta and I researched the doctor I wanted to go to. I wanted one of the best. I chose Dr. Burak Ozgur. I wasn't sure if I could get an appointment during this Covid-19 crisis, but I was able to make an appointment for an evaluation. He agreed surgery was necessary and it wasn't long before I was scheduled for surgery since the hospital was opening up for elective surgeries. Dr. Ozgur did minimal invasive surgery performing spinal fusions and microdecompression on my low back. Two weeks after surgery, I am walking with the dogs pain free and I look forward to riding again. I highly recommend Dr. Ozgur and staff at One Brain & Spine Center.

I cannot thank Dr. Ozgur, his PA Jordan Faulkner, his assistant Yulia, his office staff and all of nurses, aides and physical therapists at Hoag for their exceptional care. I had a C4-7 ACDF on April 28th. When I was 19 I started having neck pain. Then I spent seven years in a combat unit in the Army, went to school and then spent the last 15 years as a critical care nurse. I’ve always managed to live with the pain, but when my hands went numb about a year ago I finally decided I needed to do something and was referred to Dr. Ozgur after my PCP examined me. I had several tests and three epidurals. It all added up to surgery being the best option for me. I was terrified to have this surgery but I am so glad that I did. The feeling in my hands improves daily. The aching in my neck is gone (I do have post-op pain but it’s not the same and gets better daily). I am looking forward to PT to regain function in my hands. Overall- 10/10.

Could not have had a better experience at a doctor's office. ( I do know, I'm a surgeon.) His coordinator, Yulia, and PA, Jordan, could not have been more friendly and helpful. The office is very efficient. Dr. Ozgur and I both felt surgery was necessary. It was carried out expeditiously, and now, nearing three months, has to considered a complete success. I could not be happier, and hopefully you will, as well.
