If you have something going on with your vision that other doctors aren’t figuring out, this is the guy you want on your team. I probably owe my life to Dr. Vekovius and I definitely would have spent another 5 to 10 years before I got a diagnosis if it wasn’t for him. I went through a roller coaster of doctors before landing with Dr. Vekovius. Dr. Vekovius doesn’t know the word defeat and has no problem completely changing directions if the test results point to something different. Another thing I love about Dr. Vekovius is that he is not afraid to say something is out of his specialty. He found abnormal clotting results and a congenital heart defect that could have caused a stroke and he sent me straight out to the top cardiologist and hematologist to investigate. The spinal tap came back positive indicating MS and off I go to a MS specialized Neurologist. Thanks Dr. Vekovius for being the quarterback/advocate I needed to get me through this!

I was referred to Dr. Vekovius from my eye Doctor at the VA for some swelling behind my eye that the VA doctor could not fully diagnoseand for sagging brow line and eye lids from losing a large amount of weight. Dr. Vekovius quickly diagnosed my first issue as having been caused by an eye stroke from some point in my past. He also performed a Brow lift to correct my obstructed field of vision from the sagging brow line. I must say I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr. Vekovius is a truly talented surgeon. His doctor-patient interaction with me has been very comfortable and he's always very thorough in explaining everything. His staff is very professional yet friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Vekovius to anyone.

Dr. Vekovius is good at what he does. At times, he may be direct and to the point, but if you have an eye or vision problem,,,, I bet he can find the cause, and help you. He may be in a hurry, but that's because he has a lot of people to help. He care's for the health of his patients. I ran a little test on him, to see how he would react,,, he past with flying colors (don't call his patients, customers).

By far the worst doctor I have EVER seen in my life. Not only was he rude but so was his staff. My appointment was 10am. I waited for 4 hours before I actually got to see this doctor. He spent less than 5 minutes with me and barely spoke. He walked in and said nothing. Told me I needed and MRI and a spinal tap and to follow up with him in a month. As he’s walking out of the room, he said if you don’t take me seriously, you will be blind in 4 months. Rudest man on the planet!

The receptionist gave me a same day appointment at 2pm. i was treated by the Dr and the staff as an extreme imposition since I was not hurting or an emergency. I had just called for a regular appointment.
