Bryan K. Monson, M.D., specializes in custom LASIK, PRK, ICLs and advanced cataract surgery. Dr. Monson has authored numerous research articles in major peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals and has presented award-winning research at national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Monson was born in North Carolina and raised in Orem, Utah. He received his Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating with Dean's List honors. He obtained his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Following a medical-surgical internship at Tufts Medical Center, he completed ophthalmology residency at the New England Eye Center in Boston, where he was Chief Resident, and a fellowship at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City Utah.
