Amazing infectious disease doctor!
Went to him because nobody else could help me. Within one month of his at home infusion treatment my condition improved and my bone infection due to a wound on head is almost cleared up. He and his staff (also love Dr Smock, kitty, shay and Robin!) treat me like my issues are the most important ones and spend a lot of time with me. I am confident that they will get me cleared up and even have a oral antibiotic suppressant plan once we pull the IV. So thorough, so caring and God has blessed me because this is the second time he and his staff have saved my life. First time was a serious infection in foot. Thank you!

I suffered from a painful auto-immune skin condition for decades that was damaging to both my physical appearance and my self-confidence. I visited many specialists and took various medications, some with serious side effects, before visiting Dr. Ruben. I felt that I had tried everything before consulting with Dr. Ruben and his incredible staff. Within one visit, Dr. Ruben carefully listened to my comments, observed my symptoms, and recommended treatment. In less than one month of my visit the symptoms I have dealt with for more than 28 years no longer exist. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Ruben, Kitty and his staff. The kindness and professionalism they demonstrated was first class.

I was extremely happy with Dr. Ruben and his knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He will spend as much time with you as is needed to fully explain everything and answer all of your questions. I hope not to have to see Dr. Ruben again, but if I do, I will look forward to it. To close I will say that his staff is very accommodating and accessible AND his cell phone number is on his business card!

Dr. Ruben and his staff are absolutely Top Notch. The care that I received from each person at Encompass was truly 2nd to None. Dr. Ruben went above and beyond to make sure that my wound was treated properly, including a procedure that he performed late in the afternoon on a Sunday! The attention that I received by each person at Encompass addressed my individual needs in a manner that was warm and encouraging. Encompass is a place where the care provided for the patients is only exceeded by how much the staff cares about the people they treat. Dr. Ruben is a Special Doctor, and Encompass is a one of a kind facility for wound care. I cannot recommend them enough!

5 stars. Dr. Ruben and his staff were very courteous, professional and aware of my concerns about bring a female patient. They took every precaution to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Ruben was very thorough in his explanation to me regarding the process he was taking, to clear up my condition and not just mask over it. I would highly recommend Dr. Ruben/staff to others.

He’s doing surgeries and procedures on patients that should be done by a vascular surgeon. Overstepped his boundary

Wife was in a lot of pain on and off with an infection in her left calf and shin area. He said he would have her out of pain by the holidays. He performed some kind of in office surgery and sealed off a vein that he said was leaking. Since that day my wife has been in constant pain 24/7. All he said at that point is there must be something else causing the pain and referred us to a heart Dr. End of story. No return Visits scheduled. Just the BILL

Their office environment is warm, light and lively and we immediately felt welcomed. Our first visit to Dr. Ruben’s office was met with a natural organic kindness. Our comfort levels began on a high note, yet continued to increase as we met more of the staff. We felt like they are a happy family and they were welcoming us. Terrible! Wouldn’t let him treat a dog. I don’t understand why an infectious disease doctor has animals walking around his office. He was rude and wouldn’t listen to me and when I wasn’t getting better, he couldn’t get me out of his office fast enough.

Dr. Reuben is the best. The time he spent with us is beyond the normal. Dr. Reuben" your consultation with me ends when you want it to end." We drove 5 hours to see him.

I am the primary caregiver for my father in lawDr. Ruben was a breath of fresh air. He saved my father in laws leg. My father in law had a horrible baseball sized wound on his calcaneus i discovered after he was released from a rehab facility. Compounded by ineffectual care by other medical professionals it advanced to osteomyelitis.I was told cut off his leg it will be easier. Not the answer. I researched wound care drs,found Dr. Ruben.Steller record with the state of Michigan,board certified.

In 1995 I got a bad staff infection in my left big toe. Dr. Bruce Ruben got me healed in just a few months. I still see him whenever I am concerned about any condition. I am so glad I know about him, I do recommend his to anyone I meet or know.

Dr Ruben is an incredible doctor. He listens, he is patient and genuinely cares about your health. After trying several other physicians, Dr Ruben treated my daughter and was successful in determining the cause of her health issues. I have been to a few "good doctors" but Dr. Ruben takes this definition to a whole new level. I like to imagine what healthcare would look like if all doctor were like him!

Dr. Ruben treated me for 4 months ending in February 2018 with excellent results. I had an infection/wound from an Achilles' tendon repair. He was knowledgeable and caring. He treated ME, not just the infection. He explained how nutrition and a positive mindset could help me heal and return to life and sports faster. I was in his clinic for 3 hours on weekdays, and his staff was so kind that I came to look at the time as an island of peace as I went through a difficult time.
