Dr Tulbert is everything you could want in a health care provider. He is intelligent, empathetic, and interested in you as a person, as well as a patient. He discussed my problem; offered a solution and I was a happy camper. The practice is exceedingly well-run; the staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to all that -- no waiting on the appointment; he was right on time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tulbert’s for the past year or so, having moved to NC from out of state. My experience with him has been great: he is thorough, respectful, easy to talk with, and helpful. He has helped me with a persistent itching problem that had been undiagnosed for a few years. I feel very comfortable with him and believe I am in good hands when I am in his care. I have never looked forward to visits with the dermatologist in the past but actually look forward to see Dr. Tulbert.

Dr. Tulbert's treatment plan for my skin condition was on point. My primary physician tried to resolve the problem for months with no success. One visit and Dr. Tulbert found the right combination of medications to completely resolve the issues. He is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely concerned about helping me to feel better. Very happy with everyone at Boone Dermatology.

I wish that I visited Doctor Tulbert sooner. As a patient I always receive outstanding care and the best treatments. Dr. Tulbert has such an" wonderful bedside manner, that every time I visit him, his focus and attention to my case makes me

Excellent experience! Someone wrote he was patronizing and used terms beyond their comprehension. Absolutely didn't find that to be so. His interest in your case is sincere and intense. He finds the level of exchange that works and if there's something I don't understand, he's immediately responsive to my question and comes at the topic from another angle, finding the right connections. Most of the the time I don't need that extra clarification, since he's spot on with his original language.

I know that Dr. Tulbert is extremely smart and probably a good doctor, but his personality did not match what I want in a Dermatologist. He used medical school terms when talking about my skin and did not explain in lay terms until I asked. I thought he was brash, patronizing and dismissive. I will be seeking care from a different doctor or PA.
