ARROGANT!
I am 73, very healthy, but overweight, and once in my life, 10 years ago, was diagnosed as borderline diabetic. I wanted Diep flap reconstructive surgery and scheduled an appointment with Dr McKane. He began explaining various implants, and I told him I didn't want implants. He said it was my only option. When I asked about Diep Flap, he raised his voice and said, "NO!!!!! I won't do that!!" When I asked why, he said it was because of my age, my obesity, and because I was pre-diabetic! I said the the borderline diabetes was 10 years before and I am very healthy! No illnesses whatsoever, besides breast cancer. He still refused! So I left, made an appt with another plastic reconstruction surgeon at MCD; was told I was a great candidate. Did my reconstruction along with mastectomy surgery, and came out wonderful! Since it's my own tissue, looks and feels just like my other breast, except for loss of nipple! Hallelujah! Felt McKane was not interested in wasting time on 73 year old!

Dr. McKane listens to concerns and always makes certain I understand everything perfectly. Having breast cancer a second time led me to believe I would never feel feminine again. I was wrong. I would recommend Dr. McKane to friends and family.

Dr. Mckane is a Godsend! I had to make the ultimate decision after breast cancer and he and his staff were so helpful and kind. Mayra was always so nice during my office visits and Dr. Mckane’s bedside manner is AMAZING!!! He’s so patient and gives his patients very thorough consultations. I felt so supported throughout the entire process! My results are wonderful and I can say firsthand he is capable of of returning the physical look you had before mastectomy! It’s hard to tell the difference in before and after pictures ???? I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. McKane literally saved my life a few years ago. He was determined and dedicated to standing by my side for months after I contracted an infection unrelated to my original procedures. He saved my life and just recently did another reconstruction I needed for a couple of years. Very happy with this man’s patience and commitment. Thank you Dr. McKane.

Dr. McKane did an excellent job helping me get through my breast reconstruction. It was a very difficult period emotionally for me after I lost my breasts. He took a lot of time with me and really cared for me. He always listened to me. My reconstruction was done using DIEP flaps. He restored my breasts and a lot of my confidence. I look great and I highly recommend him. His staff is wonderful too.

Do you want to be embarrassed by him mailing you letters from Plastic Surgery? They don't care about you! They are too Greedy! They spent about 10 minutes with me; told me my insurance would not cover the procedure. They billed my insurance for almost $300 for the consultation! The insurance paid them less; he has been billing me ever since for the balance. Do you want to do business with someone this petty of a penny pincher? Other surgeons charge about $5k. McKane charges about $13K.
