I recently had “trigger release” surgery on my thumb. Dr. Zafonte took the time to explain the procedure, and made me feel at ease. He has a wonderful bedside manner, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel “rushed.” I would highly recommend Dr. Zafonte and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Zafonte recently performed my hip replacement surgery. Excellent doctor. He took his time to explain procedure, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Two weeks after my surgery I am getting around very well - no walker or cane. My primary care doctor told me that if he needed to have a hip replaced he would want Dr. Zafonte to do it. Glad I had it done.

I had an open fracture to my left thumb from an accident. Dr. Zafonte saw me the very next day and after a thorough exam scheduled corrective surgery. The recovery was quick and with very little pain compared to what I expected. The office visits to monitor the progress were quick and easy with very friendly and compassionate staff. Dr. Zafonte is a skilled surgeon and I would highly recommend him!

I broke my both bones near my wrist in early September. After viewing the X-rays and conferring with me it was decided I needed surgery to put a plate in to stabilize the radius bone. Dr. Zafonte performed the surgery and after visits. His care and professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend him and his friendly staff to anyone needing orthopedic care.

AN EXCELLENT ORTHOPETIC SURGEON AND STAFF OF ASSISTANTS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, NURSES. DR. ZAFONTE IS WELL EDUCATED, VERY COMPETENT, SOFT SPOKAN, ( INCLUDING THE STAFF), EXPLAINED ALL TREATMENT OPTIONS AND THE WAY THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED, TIME FRAME OF PROCEDURE AND HEALING TIME. PT WAS ALSO EXCEPTIONAL, FROM THE DRESSING TO EXERCISES..... AND I CANNOT EXPRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING THE EXERCISES, IT WILL IMPROVE YOUR RESULTS. DURING THE PROCEDURE, YOU, THE PATIENT IS MADE TO FEEL RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE BEFORE DR. ZAFONTE BEGINS. THE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, TORI, WAS WELL EDUCATED, EFFICENT, AND KIND. WHEN DR. ZAFONTE BEGA THE PROCEDURE, HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING FROM BEGINNING TO END. MY PROCEDURE FOR DUPUYTENS CONTRACTURE HAD VERY LITTLE DISCOMFORT AND TOOK VERY LITTLE TIME. TO COMPLETE. A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER THE PROCEDURE, I HAD A VERY NICE CARD SENT TO ME BY THE STAFF AND SIGNED BY THE STAFF. PERSONAL LETTER BY DR. ZAFONTE WAS ALSO SENT. DR. LIKES GARTH BROOKS AND HE MAY SING

Dr Zafonte treated me for a right elbow bursitis after a bad fall. I saw Dr Zafonte twice over a two months from August to early November of 2019. The first visit was a diagnosis that the bursitis would take up to three months to heal completely. The treatment was to use a hot pad three times a day. That worked perfectly and Dr Zafonte said I was cured. I would not hesitate to call on him again if needed. Dan Bantz

Dr. Zafonte and his staff are very caring and explained everything to me in language I understood. While he was doing surgery on my hand, he kept me informed as to what and how it was going. Follow=up care was very good and thorough. I will definitely go back to him if I ever need that type of care again. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic problem.

I had fallen off a ladder at home and broke my wrist and fractured some bones in my right arm. Dr. Zaponte was recommended to me, by some of the emergency room personnel. At the initial visit, he went over the x-rays, and explained to me my different options, and why he thought surgery and inserting a titanium plate and pins was the best route to take . The surgery had me a little worried, since I had never been completely under. They had to cut in on both sides of my arm to correct it, but the scarring is absolute minimal - you can barely even see it . But most importantly, I have full function of my right arm and hand back! He is very skilled surgeon and does excellent work! His staff, and the physical therapists were also very professional and considerate. I would highly recommend him for anybody that needs hand surgery done!
