Dallas, TX |
Doctor did not listen to symptoms, was dismissive, and had no interest in following up. Friendly, but unless you're dealing with obvious, overt symptoms, he will not treat, nor will he come up with any recommendations. Find a doctor who is more interested in how you feel.

I believe that he could help with diabetes. He is nice and will spend time with you, but if you're dealing with an autoimmune issue, look for help elsewhere. Nice person, but nice won't help you a lot when you

Dr.Welch is one of the best physician. He is very prompt with his response, sent through the online portal. A thorough physician with good bed side manners. Has always answered my questions very patiently. Never felt rushed. Highly recommended him!

He's the best. Very personable and on-time. Wonderful new office.

Dr. Welch is a fine doctor, I think; however, the office staff is incompetent and extremely unhelpful. They do not answer the phone, they do not allow you to leave a message, and they are generally unreliable, making the visit most unpleasant. I am done with Dr. Welch as soon as I can find another endocrinologist who is more accessible when needed.
Mckinney, TX |
Dr. Welch is a wonderful person and Doctor but stay away from his nurse. She lied to me on several occasions regarding prescription authorization which took 2 weeks of DAILY phone calls before being resolved. If you leave a message no one calls you back. If you can take all that Dr. Welch is great.

Dr. Welch is an extremely compassionate doctor who goes out of his way to help you manage your disease the very best he can. He is the first Dr. that has worked with me to keep changing my diabetic medicines to find the right one and dose to manage it the best we can. He has actually called me himself a couple of times to tell me what I needed to change until my next office visit with him.

Excellent communication skills. Pleasant bedside manner. Called me between office visits to review data from tests and modify treatment strategy. Excellent physician! Gives you the data, suggested strategy and listens to your feedback making you part of the decision making.

Five years ago I was a satisfied patient with multiple visits and follow-ups. Within the last six months, I called for an appointment, and never got a live answer. I was forwarded to a voice mail system, and the message I left requesting an appointment was never returned. The problem is in the front office. So. . . I changed doctors.

He truly is the best endocrinologist in the Dallas area. He took me on as a new patient 6 years ago while I was hospitalized for a high risk pregnancy. He called the nurses and asked to speak to me directly to get my history. The nurses said they'd never had that happen before. Besides being thorough he is just a great, kind doctor.

He's the best Endocrinologists I've ever had. He's attentive toward my medical history and very informative. Always happy to answer any question I have.
