I have been a nurse for over forty years but never encountered a doctor like Dr. Shrager. He performed a colon resection on me due to an attack of diverticulitis. He showed a level of professionalism I had rarely seen. From my first encounter he made himself readily available if I had any questions. He was thorough in explaining the procedure and made me feel very comfortable and confident. And most important he's an amazing surgeon. I can't say enough about him.

Dr. Shrager performed an 8 hour surgery on my husband. His expertise & what he did in that operating room were amazing as was his compassion towards me & my family. Once my husband came home from the hospital, Dr. Shrager checked on him not only at office visits but through emails & even a weekend phone call. We are so grateful Dr. Shrager was recommended to us by our gastrointestinal doctor, & we would highly recommend him!
