Dr. Rizzo not only performed surgery on my mom, removing a nodule on top of her thyroid (thankfully non-cancerous), but he also has taken care of both my husband and me on a number of occasions. He is no-nonsense, explains conditions and treatments thoroughly, and has been a life-saver for us on several occasions, taking care of my husband's allergy and breathing issues and my vertigo and recent ear problems. I highly recommend him!

excellent care for a difficult situation. Dr. Rizzo & staff are great and I feel much better. If you are lucky enough to see this doctor, do it. Too bad there aren't a dozen Dr. Rizzos out in the world to help as many people as possible, so whatever time you get with Dr. Rizzo and his staff, be thankful because there are a ton of people out there that need help.

Awesome Doctor. He was so helpful with my Thyroid problem. He checked on me a few times after my surgery, which was very caring of him. Even though this was difficult for me, he made it a lot easier. I am forever grateful!

Brian Rizzo is the most unprofessional doctor I've even seen. He was cold and seemed bothered that I had more than 2 questions after I was told that he recommended me to have a partial and possible total thyroidectomy. Dr.Rizzo made me feel very uncomfortable. After I said I am considering a 2nd opinion he said if I felt that way then I should continue care with the doctor I would be seeing for the 2nd opinion. I felt bullied and uneasy.

He's one of those drs that doesn't listen, he knows everything and what you know is of no consequence even though its your body. The office staff is cold, they only respond at the end of the day no matter the issue. When I made my next apt they gave me a day and said they would call me with a time and like the others you have to call them back before end of day or they cancel your apt and they close at 4:30 so if you work you're outta luck. My wait time was 55 minutes too. There has to be so

First, it takes three months at least to get an appointment. They cancel it, as the other reviewer stated if you don't confirm with them when they call you. Allergy Shots? Yeah they don't call you when the serum is in. This has happened with all my kids and myself. So we spent months and months waiting for the shots. And if you DO get an appointment, and DO manage to confirm, plan on sitting in their office for two hours waiting for someone to see you. If you leave, they won't reschedule you.

Dr. Rizzo seemed in a hurry to get me in and out as fast as he could. He did a procedure on me that a subsequent ENT said was not needed. Worst of all is the West Valley ENT office itself. On two occasions I requested, in writing, to have my records sent to another ENT and to have Dr. Rizzo sign a form I needed from my insurance hearing aid company. Neither of these requests was honored. When I refused to pay my final bill until the forms were sent, they just charged me a $10 late fee.

THIS DR. RIZZO'S RIDICULOUS "POLICY" You will be allowed to make an appointment. They will tell you specific date and time. They will call you a few days before the appointment and not leave any message. If you do not call them back within one hour from their call - they cancel your appointment. GET THAT? They DON'T tell you about this "policy" when you make the appt and they DON'T leave a message telling you you need to call them back within the hour. Stay away or it'll happen to you too.

My son suffered from constant ear infections. Since he is autistic, can be very fearful of doctor. Dr. Rizzo was very patient with him and did a surgery so that my son no longer has ear infections.

After 7 days of unbearable vertigo, a Christmas trip home cancelled because of it, & 2 unsuccessful trips to the hospital, I reached out to Dr. Rizzo. Dr Rizzo & his son Troy immediately saw me & began addressing my issue, BPPV, an inner ear issue which can take time or a specific hands on maneuver to fix. Dr. Rizzo and Troy were SO caring and kind to me & they got me in for 3 treatments which did completely take the vertigo away & allowed me to make it home for the holidays. SO GRATEFUL!!!
