Dr Palumbo gave me a partial fight knee replacement. Others had recomended the total knee but I was excited to find him and did the partial with great results. I was able to do it as an outpatient at FOI's facility which couldn't have been better, quality people and care. I'm 8 weeks out from surgery and no more hobbling!

Within the past couple of years, I've had so many different office visits for various doctors, but this was the absolute first time that I felt as if everyone truly had a concern for me as a person. From the moment that I checked in, to my checkout, I was extremely comfortable. One of his staff even apologized to me for something that she has no control over. I was somewhat upset when I was advised that I had to have x-rays as I had just experienced having x-rays the previous days. After I had the x-rays and she came back into the room, she actually apologized to me. I told her that she owed me no apology as she was just doing her job. I appreciated that jester. Dr. Palumbo made me feel very comfortable in explaining all that was going on. Although I may never need him again, I would recommend him to anyone and have done so. Great experience.

This was my 5th knee replacement surgery on my right knee, and I did extensive research before finding Dr. Palumbo to do it. My knee had been through far too much (broken prosthesis, infections, bone deterioration)....it was a mess. He was referred to me by another orthopedic surgeon who called him a "super specialist" and one of only 3 he would suggest to be able to handle the condition my knee was in. The other 2 names given to me where not in my geographic region. Dr. Palumbo was masterful. This was the most complicated of all my surgeries on my right knee, but I had the easiest and quickest recovery. In 9 days, I was able to walk with one walking stick without pain. Now, after 5 weeks, I am practically back to normal. I have complete extension and 120 degrees of bend. Next week, I will be playing golf, and plan to play tennis and pickleball again in about 3 weeks. Dr. Palumbo gave me my life back after 2 years of pain and numerous surgeries. I am glad to have found him.

Had knee pain for two years. My previous orthopedic doctor recommended a full knee replacement. I went to Dr. Palumbo for a second opinion and a partial was recommended based on xray, age, and health. I was relieved to hear as this meant a shorter, more natural recovery. The whole process was so well organized and the procedure went very smoothly. His PA, Mr. Wicker, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through the process. Dr. Palumbo's administrative assistant was also very knowledgeable and efficient. I am quite extremely happy with the whole process and would highly recommend Dr. Palumbo and his staff. If I have to do this for the other knee, he will certainly be my choice in surgeons!

I am a 72 year old obsessed tournament racquetball player. Have been playing a minimum of 4 times per week since 1972. Both knees have been bone on bone for around 2o years. Palumbo replaced one on April 29,2018 and the other on November 1,2018. In both cases I was back on the court in 8 weeks. Several of my racquetball buddies that have had the same knee replacement with a different surgeon DID NOT have as good a result as myself.

Dr. Palumbo receives my strongest endorsement. I recommend FOI and Dr. Palumbo to everyone. I trust FOI overall and I trust Dr. Palumbo implicitly. He did a total hip replacement two years ago and now it is time for my left hip. Dr. Palumbo gave my life back two years ago. He uses an anterior approach. I will not see any other physician even though my medical insurance wants to direct me to someone else that isn't at FOI. I've seen other FOI doctors who are also very good, however, Dr. Palumbo and his supporting staff are exceptional. Overall, my experiences with FOI are superb.

I had a partial left knee replacement surgery on 3/26. After suffering with bone on bone for the last 8 months it was an incredible immediate relief not to have an aching pain with each step I took. Dr. Palumbo explained the entire procedure and what to expect and everything played out just as he described. I am now totally pain free, have full movement and looking forward to getting back to the activities I've missed.

Avid runner my entire adult life, completed 7 marathons, but in the last few years have been experiencing increasing pain in my right knee. Finally went to a doctor, got some x-rays, was referred to Dr. Palumbo. He and his outstanding staff quickly diagnosed a need for a right hip replacement. Dr. Palumbo performed the surgery about a month ago, the entire experience was outstanding. Back to working out every day, and my right leg is already in way better shape than it was prior to the surgery.

Dr. Palumbo did my knee replacement surgery in January, 2019. I am amazed at how quickly the knee healed and I have gone from constant bone on bone pains to pain-free! I have already gotten the other knee on the operating calendar for May, 2019. He is excellent and his staff is top-notch! I highly recommend Dr. Palumbo for your knee repairs.

He is very knowledgeable and very understanding. He only wants what is best for his patients and after having surgery, I feel like a whole new person. I am forever grateful to him for having helped me through my pre and post operative surgery. Thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH DR. PALUMBO!

Dr. Palumbo performed a right lateral partial knee replacement on me in December 2018. I will admit that the first two weeks were extremely difficult with regard to pain control, however, as a nurse, I feel this issue is related more to the current climate regarding opioids than anything that Dr. Palumbo has control over. At this point, I am pain free and walking and riding my bicycle again without difficulty. The final hurdle is to get back on the ice and rejoin my hockey team and I am confi

I had been procrastinating for years to have a knee replacement but after my husband saw an interview on channel 13 with Dr. Palumbo and learning he worked with custom implants and that he was a rejection and infection specialist for FOI I knew that this was the right doctor and the right time for me to pursue my replacement. I had an excellent result. I was walking with NO pain immediately and with a normal stride within 2 weeks! Dr and staff top notch!!! THANK YOU!
