It has now been one year since my spinal fusion with Dr. Neuman. Over the past 20 plus years I have had 3 surgeries on my lower back. Dr. Neuman did not over-promise the outcome of the surgery but a year later my back is much improved.. He was able to correct scar tissue problems from previous surgeries that caused problems in my right leg and repair the new damage that was causing problems in my left leg. I have not felt this good about my back in years.
Purcellville, VA |
Dr Neuman performed spinal decompression surgery for me in Jan. 2017. It was exactly what I needed. He said it would help with the numbness but not do anything for back pain. He underestimated. For the first time in 30 years I am free of back pain. And the numbness is long gone. Thank you!

Dr. Neuman is the BEST. He gave me back my quality of life . After reviewing my MRI he knew and explained what had to be done. He is caring, very compassionate and knows his patients. I knew what to expect from the surgery and recovery and he answered every question I had patiently. He has a great bedside manner and a good sense of humor. He came everyday while in the hospital and answered any questions. I can do things again without pain thanks to Dr. Neuman. Again he is the best.
in Jessup |
Dr. Neuman performed a microdiscetomy on my L5-S1. Prior to surgery I had pain and numbness down my right leg and my quality of life was shot. Dr. Neuman was professional and has impeccable bedside manner before, during and after the surgery, and my pain is 100% gone. Amazing surgeon and a nice guy to boot, would recommend him to anyone suffering spine-related issues.

Dr Neuman is a special MD for sure. He actually listens to and "hears" what you say. He did my surgery several years ago. And after seeing my amazing turnaround compared to when I first met Dr Neuman- many co-workers, friends, and family have opted to make appts. Everyone's been quite pleased. He's patient and conservative until there's no other way to go. and then his surgical skills are progressive and on point. THANKS Dr Neuman.
in DELTA, PA |
After years of pain with no relief Dr. Neuman provided options. Surgery went well and relief was instant. His bed side manner is excellent, explains everything and answers questions. Attentive to your needs. Great staff also. He gave me my life back. I have recommended him to several people.
in Millersville MD |
Dr. Neuman operated on me for a lumbar laminectomy in April 2016. The operation went very well, the aftercare was excellent at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in a brand-new wing. Two weeks after recovery my pain was all gone, it was wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Neuman as a surgeon. He took extra care to seal the incision and make sure I had enough pain medication. I had formerly been walking hunched over and using a cane due to spinal stenosis and arthritis. Now I'm normal!
in Warwick, MD |
We met with Dr. Neuman re thorasic and lumbar surgery. Dr. Neuman. recommended fusing nine vertebrae with rods and screws, that was in April, 2017. Today i met with him and now five months post surgery i have no pain. For me this is huge! Dr. Neuman is a skilled surgeon, has wonderful associates working with him and he is diligent and very pleasant. His personality far exceeds other surgeons that i have met. My recommendation would be to go to him first, because he is the BEST.
in Towson, MD |
The follow up care & surgery by Dr Neuman were outstanding. I have never had better care from a physician!! Great team & wonderful care.
Dr Neuman performed spinal surgery in my lumbar region to relieve serious lower back pain. His surgery was excellent, and I have enjoyed and unusually rapid recovery. Moreover, prior to finalizing this procedure, he guided me through the optional treatments available with patience and sympathy. He puts a lot of thought into his work, and certainly in my case produced outstanding results.
in Baltimore, MD |
I would recommend Dr. Neuman very highly to family and friends. His expertise and knowledge in the field of Orthopaedic Scoliosis and all other Orthopaedic Fields is fantastic. He is very efficient in his field. His bedside manner is also excellent. He answers all your questions very thoroughly and makes you feel very comfortable. The outcome of my Scoliosis Surgery is excellent. I am feeling much better as a result of my back surgery.
Lorton, VA |
An overall great doctor no exceptions!
in Fort Meade, MD |
My c-spine fusion was a success. Dr. Neuman thoroughly explained everything and answered all of my questions. His plan of action was spot on. Look forward to having Dr. Neuman work on other areas in my spine with issues which require surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Neuman if you require surgery on your spine.
in Rosedale, MD |
I had sciatica pain so bad I couldn't sit or even tie my own shoes. I spoke to Dr. Neuman who is very easy to talk to, about my options and decided on surgery to repair a herniated disk in my lower back. The day after surgery all the pain from the sciatica was gone.. I was truly amazed to be pain free. Dr. Neuman and his staff did an unbelievable job on my back.. I would recommend him to any one considering this procedure.
in Nottingham, MD |
I had surgery on my neck and before the surgery Dr Neuman went over everything from pre op ,surgery and recovery time in detail. I was to be admitted after my surgery he came and seen me after all his surgeries that day at 11pm and was back to see me the next morning at 7am. my recovery is doing great every thing is just as he stated my only regret is that i waited so long to have the surgery. having known i would have such and good doctor and great results i would not have waited so long
