I arrived early and was seen early. Dr. Liem is so professional and had a good memory of my last visit. He reviewed the notes from the previous visit and analyzed my progress. He presented my options if I chose further treatment. Dr. Liem gave his opinion about what the next steps might be and the probable outcome of each. I appreciated the time and patience he gave to my checkup. I feel confident working with Dr. Liem to resolve my injury.

Dr. Liem was everything you want a doctor to be.
The UW Sports Medicine Clinic is a great place to get care. I had a very short wait, Dr. Liem came in, was friendly, asked where I lived, a bit of chit chat and then he zeroed in on my knee. He was gentle, obviously very skilled, his initial dx was what the x-rays showed. He gave me a few exercises to strengthen muscles around the knee. I now know where to go if I have any problems with my knee or other issues related to sports activites.

Efficient use of time
I was very impressed that Dr. Liem knew my history and presenting problem as he walked into the exam room. He reviewed his understanding of it and asked if he correctly had it. Clearly he had read my chart and outside records (which his med assist Thomas had asked about days before). He did a thorough exam and explained my condition in easily understable terms (lots of analogies and showed pics on internet). Happy to recomend friends and family.

Cancels with less than 24 hours notice
Cancels with less than 24 hours notice, his receptionist told me he doesn't cover my issue (physical therapy for a broken toe), and didn't give me any recourse as far as helping me find another doctor. I had the appointment scheduled for over 10 days. Absolutely ridiculously little regard for patient outcomes.

Very thorough & Informative
I suffered a chest muscle injury from lifting, and was fortunate to be seen by Dr. Liem very quickly. This was my first time visiting Dr. Liem, who provided a very thorough examination to make sure I did not injure anything else, and provided all the information on how the muscle tear likely occurred as not to repeat. By the end, I was able to choose a treatment plan that I was comfortable with. I did not feel rushed here, definitely great service, and glad to add Dr. Liem to my care team - should I ever need it. Thank you!!

Top Notch Licensed Medical Professional
Dr. Brian Liem is an outstanding physician with an excellent skill set and a brilliant personality. He treated me successfully for a pinched nerve in my spine, which caused some of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I would see him again in a New York minute. He is so good I wish he were my primary care provider.

Great doctor. He puts lot of time to listen to your issues and does physical exams to find the issues and then explain the tofu very well. I feel comfortable with his advise and decisions.

Had an appointment with Dr. Liem for knee pain. He was one of the best doctors I've seen. He really listened to all of my symptoms, was patient, did a thorough exam and answered all of my questions about my pain and treatments. He gave me several treatment options and explained each one perfectly so I could understand. Overall an excellent doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Liem.

Dr. Liem is, hands down, one of the best if not the best medical providers I have ever seen, and his office is run extraordinarily well. I say this as both a patient and a healthcare provider myself. In many offices you get the sense that the doctor is there to check boxes and pass you off to the next cog in the system, so to speak. Dr. Liem and his staff are knowledgeable, courteous, professional, warm, caring, and patient. I felt very well taken care of. The office is so well run that they contacted me with regards to a refill and follow-up before I even had the chance to reach out myself. Once I was running late and they were still able to see me the same day. The only issue with going to Dr. Liem is that you may find yourself eternally disappointed with other providers. Kudos to Dr. Liem and his team.

3 months ago I had a Tenex procedure with Dr. Liem. Everyone was very nice and very professional and knowledgeable. I had a 3 month follow up this morning and everything is looking good as far as tendons and lose scar tissues. no more follow up unless I need it.

Dr. Liem is a very competent doctor who displays a high amount of empathy and concern for his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable in his diagnosis and treatment plan. I was very impressed with his patience and ability to listen and answer questions regarding my back pain. He administered two steroid injections that were very helpful plus referred me to physical therapy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great healthcare provider.

Dr. Liem is awesome! I've been seeing him for a few years now for chronic pain. He's warm & compassionate with his treatment, really listens to my concerns & gives me options so I'm included in the treatment plan. He doesn't have a "one size fits all" attitude. There's no judgement and no criticism, as has been the case with some doctors I've dealt with before. Dealing with chronic pain hasn't been easy. I'm grateful for finding a doctor that I trust & have confidence in to guide me on this journey. Thank you Dr. Liem!

Doctor only concerned about CYA. Not qualified to give injections and gave mine in the wrong place in my wrist, nearly 1 inch away from the place where a reputable surgeon injected me, who I had to see AFTER seeing Dr Liem. Dr Liem caused even more pain in my wrist and had no concern or follow up after. Could care less. I have never visited such an incompetent "doctor."

Dr. Liem is very attentive to the patient's input. He listens and affirms the patient's experience. He always spends plenty of time, never rushed. He is very thorough in his diagnoses, and considers all of his patient's conditions as he determines a course of action. He explains his actions in an easy to understand way and makes sure that the patient understands, before going on. I am very confident in Dr. Liem and very much appreciate his work. He is knowledgeable, thorough and friendly.

Dr. Liem is very honest and patient. In his care for my buttock pain he kept a working relationship with me and through our partnership we were able to systematically work towards a diagnosis of a difficult somewhat phantom-like injury. He (or his staff) was quick to respond to questions via email. If you are looking for a doctor who is realistic in his expectations and your care and who truly has your best interests in mind he is the one to see.
